This was our first time at this place since they open only a few days ago. Unfortunately the meal we order was cheese burgers and by the time we got home, 2 minutes drive, our burger were cold, not warm but cold. So I would suggest eat in or be prepare to use your microwave.
We tried twice and both times, we had a bad experience, so thought we should let you know.
Two weeks ago we got a burger combo at our new Niverville Dairy Queen. After a 2 minute drive to get home, the whole burgers were cold like they came out of the fridge, meaning the meat was cold cold.
Today around 5 pm we went back for another trial. We mentioned to the cashier that the meat was cold last time and to please let the cook know. Today we bought your special two burgers for $7 dollars. The picture on the flyer shows kaiser bun, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and meat so we ordered 3 burgers. The cashier told us the coupon was for only one burger & to receive the second free. So we asked to purchase another, so 3 burgers in total. Before we left, we looked in the bag and there were only 2 burgers. We told the young lady who brought us the order that there was a mistake in the order and we showed the receipt. She said that she will charge us for the third burger and she will get it done. I mentioned to her that by the time it is ready the other two will be cold and I said thank you for trying, but we need to go. When we got home these two burgers were kids size. No tomatoes, no lettuce, no kaiser buns. Just a plain burger.
So this is the last time we are coming.
Hiring kids mean more to watch as a manager, especially customer service. Kids do not understand that your business relies on how they perform. When business slows down and you start firing them they may not understand the reason.
I had a business and I do understand what you have to put up with. Sorry for not coming back but we thought you would want to...
Read moreI rarely give negative reviews online but after my experience this week it's the only way I can warn others to not waste their money here.
I picked up a log ice cream cake for my Easter Sunday dinner. When I purchased the cake, it appeared okay, nothing seemed off. We dished it out to our family yesterday, everyone took their first bites only to find out the ice cream had gone bad. It was SOUR. It was a chocolate log cake, it didn't taste like chocolate at all, just sour milk. It was awful. We had to throw out the entire cake.
I went to the store today to speak with a manager to a. Get a refund and b. Warn them that their ice cream went bad. The manager didn't seem to understand what I was saying to him, refused to provide a refund and said their ice cream didn't go bad and they've received no complaints. I explained that theres no way only my cake was made with bad ice cream, they had a freezer full of cakes when I had purchased mine 3 days prior. He offered me a gift card. After arguing my case to him, explaining that I do not trust their ice cream anymore, and asking for the franchise owner name so I can speak with them. He stopped talking and handed me cash.
This location has gone downhill and it's very disappointing. Won't...
Read moreWas there tonight Friday Oct 21 around 7:05pm waited a ridiculous 25 minutes!!! in the drive thru before finally getting my food. That has honestly got to be a record wait time for me at any drive thru i've been to. I ordered a Dbl Cheese Burger Combo, a side of gravy and an extra small fries and thinking i was waiting so long you would think atleast the food would be hot and freshly made and it was the total opposite! The food was terrible! It was super cold when i got home, the fries were dried out and hard, just terrible! Ended up throwing the fries away. Weren't edible.
Fortunately i live in between the Niverville and Steinbach DQ's Steinbach is maybe about 5 minutes or so further but i will say this.... Steinbach DQ is a way busier restaurant yet i have never had the experience like at the Niverville DQ. Steinbach DQ service is always quick, the food has always 100% of the time i have gone there been fesh and hot and they are usually 2 to 3 times busier than the Niverville location. I don't know why the restaurants are so different but there is no comparison. Going forward i will drive that extra 5 to 10 minutes and get my food from Steinbach DQ it's hot, it's fresh, and it's fast! Not so in Niverville. Very...
