Today my mom ordered from Farina and overall we were quite disappointed. First off, the online ordering system is very hard to understand. We ordered the family chicken parmesan dinner and the portion size is quite small for the price you are paying, as the picture shows you get 4 pieces of chicken, a small container of the pasta and salad of your choosing, as well as a random container of vegetables that we weren’t expecting. We paid extra for the bruschetta bread and thought we ordered another caesar salad, but like I mentioned earlier their site in not user friendly and apparently we didn’t order it. Finally, the site takes payments through PayPal and the first time we tried the payment didn’t go through and so we tried again and were successful. However we got a call from the restaurant indicating two orders were placed, we clarified the mistake and were told it was no problem and to just tell the delivery driver that it was paid for when he arrived. This resulted in another phone conversation, so that the restaurant could tell the delivery driver that didn’t understand the situation that yes the food has been paid for. After contacting the restaurant to tell them that we were dissatisfied, they responded by saying that they are aware of their online menu problems and that they thought they did a great job. Therefore, I wouldn’t order from Farina Risorante again or recommend it, as you can find much better food in this town for a more reasonable prices and portion sizes.

Stuff happens, and I completely understand. But it took an hour and a half for us to get food to our table after ordering—with no apology. (Our group was 10 people, and the place was maybe 1/4 capacity.) It looks like this restaurant shares a kitchen and staff with a separate bar. We also heard the chef yelling in the background (I’m assuming out of frustration). The food was totally fine—except for a piece of hard plastic (not 100% sure what it was) in one of our meals. Our desserts were given to us in to-go containers because everything was so late (we never asked for that). In the photo below: The table was left like this for 20 minutes while we waited for dessert. I dunno, man—I hope everything’s okay up in the Farina Ristorante.

I tried this place because it is located in my hotel. I had a ticket be for a free breakfast which was ok. Pancakes were very dense and hard to eat. The sausages casing were very tough as well. For dinner I had the anichini and Osso buco. The rice balls weren't bad, the breading is very thick and crunchy. Inside could use something else like peas added. Kinda just blah but good tomato sauce. Osso Buco had good flavour, not a whole lot of meat for what I paid. I don't care for polenta which is what it is supposed to c ok me with so I got rissoto. Very chewy and gummy/starchy. I don't think I will be back during this trip.

It's slid since our last visit. The risotto, mozzarella ball things (forgot the name) were not hot enough or didn't have enough cheese and therefore not gooey, and the marinara wasn't great. Really disappointed.

My bestie and I ordered cheese cap, it had a not so great texture, it was quite gluey and was very bland, part of it being the boring marinara sauce. I was really annoyed there were really overcooked linguine noodles in mine, it kinda grossed me out, I picked them out.

We WERE impressed with the antipasti/ charcuterie board, decent selection and fair price. The pickles were gone fast. Lol

The guys ordered steaks with roasted veggies and potatoes. The steaks were cooked properly but they were disappointed in the very small portion of roasted/burnt veg and the 3 or 4 cubes of potatoes each. The plate was sadly quite empty for men who work hard all day, and were paying a good dime. Potatoes are cheap, there should be significantly more on their plate, maybe some herb butter for the steak and potatoes?

Nothing we had was excessively memorable or worth repeating.

All 4 of us walked out not overly thrilled, a good bit poorer, and had to buy more food elsewhere for the guys within 2 hours of supper.

I'm not sure we'll be back for a while. Crown & Beaver up the street...

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not too sure if our server and the kitchen staff were having a bad day but overall it was a terrible experience between the poor attentiveness and lack of care.

Our table waited 45 minutes for drinks with most of them being pop, and well over an hour and a half for food. The group we had was 10 people so I can completely understand the time it takes to prepare everything, but we were rarely checked in on by our server (maybe 2 times the entire 3 hours we were there) and it felt as if she had forgotten about us.

The food was mediocre at best, with one of the guests at the table having something extremely crunchy in his food as if it was a piece of plastic and another getting a medium rare steak when he ordered medium well.

The server seemed disengaged and frustrated with our group near the end, considering no one made a complaint. Never once did a manager visit the table to apologize and the server seemed to not care. Nothing was comped and no apologies were made with intention or action.

It was also very uncomfortable to listen to the kitchen yell so loud that we could hear the entire thing. I’m extremely disappointed with the overall experience.

Also do not order the pistachio lemon martini, it was...
