Ayr Village Pizza — Restaurant in North Dumfries

Alright, so I'm writing this review AS IM EATING THIS THING! This panzerotti is going to cause me a divorce! My significant other always orders from the other pizza joint in town. I never tried village pizza and I just happened to be home alone.. I know... dangerous right! So I was like hey im going to try village pizza. Ordered me this meat lovers panzerotti, I get home... open it and I was SHOCKED! it's huge! And looked so amazing I grabbed my phone to review this bad boy before I took a bite. I settled down, a little... and ate half and then continued my review. I'm so mad my wife kept me away from here! (Not intentionally) boy when she gets home we're guna have a chat about how much better this place is! Haha all in all employees were super friendly and by far.. the best panzerotti I've ever had. I'll be back! This is my go to for like.... ever now. Ya'll better not close...

Ayr Village Pizza is AWESOME! If I could give more stars I would. The calzones in particular are my absolute favourite! I have tried a lot of different panzerotti's but the ones from Ayr Village Pizza really are the best. They taste fantastic, are always stuffed and HUGE. Love the garlic butter that is drizzled on top. Great value for your money! My friend and I always make a point to drive to Ayr from out of town when we are together just to make a stop at Ayr Village Pizza. The service is also wonderful. I believe we were speaking with the owner at our last visit and my friend and I told her how we had come in from out of town just for her calzones. The owner was so sweet we even receieved ice-cream on the house! It made our day. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. You won't...

Not at all what we expected in a very good way. Both my wife and I have driven past due to the ongoing construction forcing you to detour through Ayr, we like to try new pizza places and finally got around to calling in an order and making a special trip.

The pizza was incredible. Price wise it's a little more on the higher end but well worth it. I would rather pay another 10 bucks and get pizza like this vs. the cardboard box stores while supporting a business like this. Both pizzas from their list (chicken supreme/margarita) as well as the cheese sticks were a very nice change.

We will be back for sure. No issues of topping slipping off, the pizza was cooked perfectly so it wasn't chewy/watery.
