I have to say that if it hadn't been for COVID, or inappropriate, I would have kissed the cook! I was afraid, when I realized things were "breakfast sandwich" that I was getting a version of the McMuffin. Boy was I wrong. The freshest, warmest tea biscuit, obviously made first thing in the morning, along with the lightest, tastiest hollandaise sauce on my "Eggy Benedict", freshly cooked bacon, spinach and a perfectly poached egg made for an absolutely plate-licking breakfast (OK, I didn't, but I wanted to) and well worth the drive from Ottawa. Along with a steaming hot mochaccino, I've got to say everything was outstanding. I would have no hesitation giving Bubba & Bugs a 10 star rating if that existed. There is so much to love I'm not sure where to begin. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The owners/operators always have a smile to share and a warm hello. The music is always on point and the coffee is AWESOME. 100% the best coffee I have ever tasted. And let's not forget the delicious sandwiches, to-die-for bacon eggie, and the daily delicious treats (you have to try the date squares). And on top of all of that Bubba & Bugs strive to be active members and inclusive partners in the community. They are strong advocates for equality and human rights and aren't afraid to speak out on some of the tough issues that people in every community face such as prejudices, hate messages and discrimination.
