Sam's Pizzeria — Restaurant in North Grenville

So I ordered 2 chicken shawarma platters to the house, and after delivery it cost 39.60. All I was craving was chicken and garlic and was going to stop at a reputable spot in town on my way home. I chose to go with Sam’s as they are Lebanese and seem to be really passionate about their food and the kemptville community. When I got it I have never been more horrified and enraged with the quality of food....EVER. It was sooo disgusting that I have an entire photo montage designated to this plate. I have been showing it around “town” and everyone that see’s it is disturbed. It was a random compilation of chicken that looked like it came from all chicken plates not cleaned up by patrons that ordered earlier that afternoon. There were chunks of random chicken kabob’s re fried, giblets, and chunks of skin/cartilage that were packed together. None of which were edible. The Fatoosh with iceberg lettuce with ranch like dressing and the potatoes were few and burnt to almost a dehidrated state. Any Lebanese person would be completely ashamed to call this a dish from their culture. I never write reviews, but this enraged me. We ordered from sams for the first time tonight. We ordered 2 med pizzas and boneless wings for 51.99. There were only 7 boneless wings..which were more like chicken nuggets tossed in sauce. The pizzas were okay...the crust was probably the best thing about it all. Topping choices were limited as well. When I called sams back to inquire why only 7 pieces of chicken (even though our receipt showed 10 pieces) a very abrupt person told me that he couldn't update the system so it shows 10 pieces and when I said that I would have expected a few more pieces of chicken I was told that it says on the menu 1 order...no mention of how many pieces so I shouldn't be "expecting" anything. I found the reply very rude and abrupt for our first time there. Not to mention that 2 med pizzas...7 boneless wings and a small cauliflower crust pizza cost us almost $100 with tax and tip. You've lost us as a customer...

New to Kemptville and tried 4 or 5 different pizza spots. Sam's is by far the best. The pizza dough is on the thicker side of things but soft and fluffy. Sauce is delicious and they offer a good ratio of cheese. The meat lovers is by far one of the best I've ever tasted. Also tried the family shawarma platter which was amazing and fed us for days. Would also recommend the smoked meat sub with mustard. As a woman who grew up in Montreal, takes a lot to say that. I've tried a few other things on their menu and have yet to be disappointed.
