Subway — Restaurant in North Grenville

This falls in my top 3 worst experiences I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. I visited on Saturday November 20th at around 2pm.

My complaints include: • The two staff working there were extremely rude and grouchy. It seemed to be a massive inconvenience that I was ordering a sub. • The staff made several rude comments about various customers. For example, a few customers entered the store while I was placing my order. One said to the other, "I guess you won't be able to do your homework today, Brittany." It is not anyone's fault but your own that you are working a job that prevents you from doing your homework. • A man walked into the store and very politely asked for his order to be fixed since the staff made an error. They rolled their eyes in plain sight and mocked him when he was out of earshot. • They did not change their gloves in between orders despite cashing out and dealing with non-food. I didn't feel I could ask them to change their gloves due to their poor attitude and grouchy demeanor. • My vegetarian sub tasted like tuna.

Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before I went. I now see that multiple people have made similar complaints. I hope that the managers of this store read these reviews and take action as this pattern of behaviour is...

DO NOT GO TO THIS SUBWAY UNLESS YOU WANT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

First of all, there were two female employees who were EXTREMELY rude and treated me very horribly. They were talking to me as if I did a horrible thing by coming in and ordering food. It was clear they did not want me in the store at all. I do not expect for them to be nice and cheerful but at the very least they should treat you with the minimal degree of respect. The two girls also talk trash and judge other people for doing absolutely nothing other than simply ordering food from the subway. This is no way to treat a customer.

Second of all, they provide very small portions of meat AND toppings on the sub. Beware of asking for any extra lettuce or tomato or else they will give you dirty looks and throw a fit of rage. Even though you are entitled to ask for extra veggies.

Once again I heavily suggest that you do not go to this subway unless you want a terrible experience. There are many other options...

Don't recommend this specific location at all. Not happy. They charge extra for some toppings which are free across all the Subways in Ontario. I didn't see anything on their screen menus or display menus which says that topping is extra. When I asked why they are charging me for some toppings when all other subway locations give it free as a part of the sandwich toppings, Owner himself said that it entirely depends on the owner (franchise owner) of that location whether to charge them or not. And yes the meat they put in the subs is less than usual. I apologize if I sound racist, but me and my friends have observed this LESS MEAT trend across almost all the subways which are served by Asians....
