Third-Class Review for Raymer (Manager) at Tim Hortons, Victoria International Airport
My experience at this Tim Hortons location was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Raymer. When I presented my voucher, he outright refused to scan it, claiming their scanner wasn’t working. Instead of finding a solution (like processing it manually, which other staff eventually did after I insisted), he directed me to airport staff—even though the voucher was for Tim Hortons.
What made it worse was his dismissive attitude—he refused to prepare orders for me and some other customers were also affected, abruptly walking into the kitchen without informing the team. When staff tried to address the issue, he started arguing with them instead of resolving the problem. The only time I received help was when I had to advocate for myself, as other employees stepped in.
Raymer’s lack of accountability, poor communication, and unwillingness to assist customers or support his team reflect badly on this location. If not for the helpful staff who eventually intervened, this would have been a complete failure. The staff is super slow and they work on their own pace. If we request them to make our order first due to time limitations, the staff is not willing to accommodate that. The new manager is terrible is managing the things and his customer service skills are worst. Rude with all the customers. Today I am writing this review because I got forced by their service. I waited more than 25 minutes just to get a cup of coffee…. Terrible service. I will never recommend Tim at YYJ to anyone. Worst experience not once but every time. One last thing to mention I requested them to ise my cup for the coffee but they used their own cup and then put the coffee in mine cup that is ridiculous. Read moreStaff need to be retrained on food hygiene. My daughter ordered a toasted bagel. As it came out of the toaster a lady came to the counter and asked for her egg bite to be reheated as it was still frozen in the middle. Daughter’s bagel is left to get cold while the half eaten egg bite is reheated. Then without changing gloves after having handle another customers half eaten food, the worker proceeds to handle her bagel. So ultimately my daughter got a cold bagel, that had been in contact with someone else’s saliva. Disgusting! I was only made aware of this after we went through security.
