Loco Beanz Coffee House — Restaurant in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

I visited Loco Beanz after hearing numerous recommendations about their coffee. Unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming and did not live up to the hype. The coffee was average at best, nothing that stood out or made it worth the visit.

What made the experience worse was the customer service. The ladies behind the counter seemed disinterested in helping customers. They did not greet us and were more engaged in their own conversations than in assisting me. Their attitude came across as rude and unprofessional.

When it was time to pay, the cashier curtly said, "Debit." I asked if they accepted Visa, to which she responded, "It's the same thing," in a dismissive tone. It’s definitely not the same. I wouldn’t be dumb to ask the question if it was. With my years of experience in the service industry, I was taken aback by this kind of response. I don't like to diss on a small shop. But no prices on their menus. We were on vacation passing through town. My husband ordered the breakfast wrap, had 1 piece of bacon, the egg was pre-made. I had their BLT wrap I asked for no cheese or mayo due to health issues. There was maybe 2 slices of tomato and bits of bacon and packed with iceberg lettuce. We had 2 med coffees. I was blown away by the price. $27.85. We were very disappointed in the lack of bacon in our sandwiches. It's not at all worth the price they are asking. They need to put more meat and need to put prices up. I believe they don't because you could go elsewhere for a full bacon and egg breakfast for...

The food is great and the place is nice. It’s just tge service, the cashier and the one who prepare the food and who took our orders is VERY RUDE!!!! We went there like 10mins before closing and we ordered 7 maple stacker and 1 wrap. It’s just like she is not happy taking a lot of orders and banging everything in the kitchen and was too loud while preparing our orders which is so annoying which the place is just small which you can really hear everything that she does while banging. It’s just so sad that we are putting this bad review because of that bad service. Never go back there again....
