Sandwich Hut — Restaurant in Northwest Industrial

Love this little sandwich shop. Ma and Pop style hole-in-the-wall place with very friendly owners and a simple menu. They have daily specials that are always super-fresh. You get a nice-sized portion for lunch and whether it's a sub, or soup or sandwich it's always very tasty. Had a burger there a week ago and it tasted like a nice BBQ burger you would get at a friend's house - just a good honest home-made tasty burger. (Not those over-rated 30 dollar abominations local pubs try to justify). I gave the atmosphere 5 because it's a neat, clean tidy hole in the wall with eye-popping lime-green paint that makes absolutely no apologies for what it is - a wonderful little place to get a quick bite FAST and service with a smile. This couple has been running the sandwich shop for more than 10 years, maybe 20 I don't know what's a long time. They're very personable. They have soup beef barley and such. They have great sandwiches, and they are primarily a lunch sandwich shop . I think they close by 3 p.m. They have excellent food, great service. A small place that you might miss if you’re not paying attention, but should definitely stop in for a bite! The food is very good! I enjoyed a grilled pizza sub and a bowl of cream of mushroom soup. Everything is deliciously homemade!
