Hi Dozo Sushi — Restaurant in Edmonton

We visited Edmonton West Mall for a whole day trip, so we have perfect missed good time to go any regular time restaurant. I have found this place where only showed a few photos about dishes. I can tell the chief has done great job on food! Here we come to this hidden spot. They also have another golf tournament (indoor) provided, which left really limited space for dining. We have ordered several dishes, here only shown couple nice photos I took. Really fresh and delicious dishes served in 5 minutes after you take the order. They are all from Korean, the chief prepare and roll up our Maki. The service person really humble and warm-hearted to hand in water and dishes super polite. what an unassuming little place! located inside a virtual golf lounge. limited seating so definitely more of a takeout place. i ordered the salmon pressed combo and it was great. pressed sushi had asparagus and cream cheese on the inside which i never had before but it worked well. the roll was very filling. the sweet/spicy glaze they put is so tasty and everything tasted fresh.

the couple working seemed so sweet. food was packaged very well, they even had a piece of cardboard under the miso soup bowl to keep it from spilling. you can tell they care for the presentation of the food, even for takeout. all the condiments were in a baggie which included a bag of green tea! overall, amazing service, quality, and value. will definitely come...

This place is wonderful. I’ve worked near Hi Dozo for a while and decided it’s time to give it a try. I’m not huge into sushi but I was excited to try the Crunchy Salmon Roll and my expectations were definitely exceeded. I always expect small portions but the serving size is large and there’s clearly so much effort put into the presentation. It also tastes amazing!
