3.5 stars... got this for a family party and they came through.
Birthday parties are chaotic at best. Throw in many many kids and you need an easy options that keeps every mouth happy and sanity intact. I have to admit that I thought it would be a hassle to grab a menu, order, and wait ... well Pizza Nova proved that all wrong and I had a very solid good experience.
The website is an easy way to place your order and you can choose many different options to pay INCLUDING gift certificate (Heads up to all Costco Shoppers... you can get discounted GCs from there for better savings). You can be simple and choose some premade options or if you're wanting to customize... you can do anything and everything with ease online.
You want gluten free well done thin crust with only dairy free cheese with one side only having cheese on cheese on cheese and the other is a pile on of many vegetables. You can do it. Not sure if someone would but the option is there. I got 4 party size pizzas and asked them to be delivered at a specific time a few days later. Yes... you can even order days ahead of time! One less item to bother the day of! Novelty!
So great thing... pizza delivered 10 minutes before it was due and it was hot. They were all correct. Price was very reasonable and all the kids liked it. The parents were ok with it too. Was it the best pizza ... no but it was solid. Not too dry, fair number of toppings, and it wasn't soggy. Isnt there a saying there is never bad pizza? Yeah... this would qualify.
I cant ask for an easier option for getting food to a lot of people, many who are probably picky (aka. ankle biters), and at a fair price. Delivered, fast, fresh, on time, and exactly to order? Definitely a...
Read moreI wish I could give this a zero rating. My son who unfortunately stutters, recently visited this Pizza Nova. When he ordered his pizza slice he had a stuttering episode, the man behind the counter then decided to mock and imitate his stutter. My son’s friend was right beside him and witnessed this, so I know it’s not made up. I decided to call head office and wouldn’t you know it, the head office customer service rep just added fuel to the fire. Without apologizing, he proceeded to tell me he reviewed video footage, unknowing of my sons appearance, nor of the time he was at the location, and that the worker did not mock and imitate his stuttering. How does a video camera pick up voice under someone’s breath, it’s not like the man yelled it out?? My son would not lie and told me his friend would witness this event. My son has been made fun of at school, and he doesn’t need to go to his local Pizza Nova (Monastey Drive, Oakville) with grown adults making fun of him too! I’m more disappointed in the man who contacted us from head office, as he tried defending his franchisee rather than addressing the problem. I’m not much of a complainer but both Pizza Nova and the franchisee crossed the line. I ask if you please can, to not patronize Pizza Nova because the company as a whole doesn’t respect people with disabilities A stuttering disability is not fun, and is very frustrating. Thanks to all those reading and supporting...
Read morehonestly very dissapointed and shocked. My delivery was some other persons order, so I called to let them know, they reassured me that the order will be remade and a refund will be issued. 5 minutes later the driver returns and picks up the incorrect order and hands me the right one. he asked if I had touched the pizza, I said no, but I had opened it and then discovered that is was not what I ordered. he responded by telling me that he was going to bring this to the intended customer. I thought that must be wrong because I had just been told on the phone that they remake misplaced orders. I opened the pizza that was brought to me, and it was stiff and cold. clearly not freshly remade. nothing I was told on the phone was accurate. during a pandemic I expect much more care in...
