This might legitimately be the best restaurant in Oakville. The food was incredible, the owner was so nice (and gave us a delicious salad on the house) and the atmosphere was wonderful. I feel like this place deserves a lot more patronage considering how perfect my experience was. And it’s 100% halal as well.
My wife and I shared an Adana Kebab plate and a Sujuk Pide
The Adana Kebab plate comes with bulgur (a seasoned turkish rice-like side), a deliciously soft and fresh Turkish bread, a charred tomato and pepper, some pickles and onions, and two skewers of the meat. The meat on its own was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and it was even further enhanced by mixing everything in the plate into one glorious bite.
The pide was excellent. The sujuk they use is like a beef pepperoni almost with a smoky and slightly spicy flavour. And the cheese they use was great. Some pides I’ve had from other restaurants have had too “creamy” of a cheese. But this one was closer to mozzarella which is my preference. It was served with a nice garlic dip.
The ambience and decor were very nice and since it was a late dinner on a Sunday night, we were the only people in the restaurant and it made for a very enjoyable private dining experience.
10/10. Truly great experience and I will definitely be...

Every now and then, you come across a place that doesn’t just meet your expectations — it completely reshapes them. That’s exactly what happened at Mesopotamia Grill House, where the Turkish food goes beyond the usual and delivers something special.
I ordered the Adana and chicken kebab plate, and honestly, it blew me away. The chicken was juicy and perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char to add depth without overpowering it. And the Adana? That’s usually the test of any good Turkish spot — and they nailed it. Bold, flavorful, and tender, with a spice blend that was spot-on.
But it wasn’t just the meat that impressed me. The rice was exactly how you want it — fluffy, shiny, and cooked to that perfect middle ground: not sticky, not dry. The salads were super fresh and added a bright, zesty balance to the plate. And the bread — warm, soft, and ridiculously good. The kind of bread that makes you want to order more just to have an excuse to eat it again.
Honestly, I walked out thinking: Is this the best Turkish food in the GTA? It just might be. Either way, it’s absolutely worth checking out. If you love bold flavours and real-deal grilling, this place should be...
Read moreTried it for the first time today! FYI they have 3 highchairs. The complimentary salad and citrussy black tea were delicious - we will be back for more orders! The chicken kebab plate was generous - I brought some home. The chicken was fresh and wonderfully moist and seasoned well. The beef plate was good my husband said. The subtle seasonings on the veggies, meats and salad were a delight throughout. We ended our lunch by sharing the sweet Baklava - tiny little pockets of perfection (they look bigger online - they are actually 2-bite sized and you get three on the plate). The restaurant wasn't busy at all around lunch time today but they told me they get busier at night and on weekends. I really do hope all of us locals support this business - it is excellent food at a fair price. The brothers are very, very nice. My only complaint is that a little more attention to the diners would be good - I had to call them over (to clear plates, to order dessert etc) more than I should have had to. But the FOOD and the warmth is so worth a visit - we will be coming back many times. Thank you for a...
