Read moreI honestly used to really like this place but yesterday what they did to me completely changed my mind. even though I did get cold food and not fresh couple of times but again god knows why I went there to place an order for my family and myself. I was never so much disappointed in my life!! I had an order placed at 6 PM for 8 PM pick up, the manager/owner of the place showed me a picture of their menu that was medium size of a tray filled with RICE - CHICKEN SHAWARMA - BEEF SKEWERS & CHICKEN SKEWERS. I requested to remove the SALAD and other things that comes with it and would like the tray ONLY for 8 PM pick up that is because my family & I were fasting and IFTAR/DINNER time was at 8:30 PM. I PAID FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDING TWO DRINKS WHILE PLACING THE ORDER!
I got a call from this GUY at 7:30 PM that my order is ready - I reminded him that I would like to pick it up fresh and warm at 8 PM and made sure he will have it ready at that time. when my brother went to pick it up at 8:05 PM this guy just started working on preparing the order at that very LAST MINUTE! not even that the tray that he prepared for us was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!! it was only AN ICE COLD RICE WITH ICE COLD CHICKEN SHAWARMA ONLY! NOTHING LIKE WHAT HE SHOWED ME AND WHAT WE DISCUSSED. and then while I am talking to him on facetime and explaining he tells me rudely that why I am having an argument and if I would like I can have some drinks with it. or the things he was saying I did not even discuss that with him and was just trying to prove himself right!! LIKE SERIOUSLY??? COME ON!! my family and I were fasting all day and was looking forward for a good food not an ICE COLD RICE AND SHAWARMA!! looking at that tray not just made me cry but I realized how heartless people are! the chicken shawarma on top of the rice was looking like spraying on the rice such a little portion!
worst taste and worst service! I would never ever go back there again! GOD...
Read moreAs many will attest, brothers and sisters, if you want good shwarma/Lebanese/middle Eastern food in Canada you need to be in Quebec where you can go to Boustan or a similar chain and for less than $15 get delicious shwarma potatoes salad and drink.
Here you will pay around $10 more and get a soggy unappetizing mess of a shwarma that comes apart as you eat it with an unpleasant aroma and aftertaste, frozen fries rather than potatoes and just feel ripped off.
Just disappointing.
Well I think I'll just have to wait till I'm next in Quebec.
Update:-
Ah so the owner responded.
Yes I did accidentally post on both the locations realized afterwards meant the Oakville one. I’m sure it doesn’t make a difference. Both as sloppy.
He has thousands of happy customers apparently, good for him.
None of that helps getting the awful taste of that inedible kebab out of my mouth. And no I didn’t ask him to put extra sauce on it.
This place is a waste of money. You are better off eating at home, less chance of being sick too.
I don’t particularly like fast food but even Mac Donald’s is more edible than this horror show.
And Thankyou for telling me I can eat in Quebec, much appreciated. You can’t even argue that the places there serve something you are incapable of...
