Only go here if you want to repeat yourself to the staff numerous times only for them to ring in whatever they feel like, then yell at you when you ask for your order to get corrected. Asked for a kid's Chicken strip meal with fries, we got told, "It comes with apples or fries", again said fries. We waited (there was only two people working, so trying to be understanding), staff offered to bring our food, I replied, "it looks like you're really busy, I don't mind waiting (at the counter). Watched as the burger, chicken strips, hot dog and one fry was put in the tray and a fresh basket of fries just got dropped in the fryer, I offered to take the tray of food that was ready and we could start eating, and I would pop back up to get the remaining two fries. When the fries were ready they brought one fry, I asked where the kids meal fries were, and that's when it all happened, got yelled at saying that's not what we asked for, we asked for apples. I said to the rude staff, I am not here to argue, can I just get an order of fries, I walked back to the counter to pay for the fries, and the employee kept at it, continuing to raise her voice, other customers began to leave. I had enough at that point, I said listen I am here paying for another fry order because you didn't listen and I was willing to be pay for that to just move on but you want to keep at it. I asked for a manager and the employee had the nerve to actually yell, "I can't deal with him anymore" and then walked away. So after paying $47 in total, to treated like absolute trash, reached out to A&W and zero resolution after a week, I am posting this here. I don't expect anything to change but maybe we need to rethink supporting these fast food chains that over charge and treat...
Read moreI used to enjoy coming for breakfast before work. But I believe there is new ownership and the two wonderful ladies that used to work in the morning seem to have either quit or have been fired and it is a shame because the 3 women that were working this morning can not even compare to the incredible service from the two previous employees. This morning I tried to order my usual classic breakfast combo. I wasn’t asked if I wanted sausage or bacon, they made that choice for me I was asked if I wanted white or brown toast. I asked for a hot water as well and the woman working the counter started to put hot water in a plastic cup (like the kind for smoothies and iced coffee). I then asked for a paper cup and she proceeded to put the hot water in a soda paper cup and I then clarified again “like a paper cup for tea or coffee” she then finally understood. I do understand that some employees might need a bit more training… but I am baffled that they had two amazing employees and they were replaced with very inept ones. I would have mentioned the employee by name however even if I wanted to I couldn’t because although she was wearing a name tag it didn’t have a name on it 🙄 and I also wasn’t given a receipt.

Read moreI can’t believe I came into this establishment today ready to buy some breakfast. I had a Starbucks iced coffee with me and I decided to wash my hands before I ordered my food as my child was with me and he needed to use the washroom. I put my Starbucks cup on the table, closest to the washroom as I didn’t wanna bring my drink inside, the washroom, the associate actually threw away my drink in a matter of 3 minutes I wasn’t even in the washroom that long as I was helping my child and she decided to toss out my coffee! It’s the principal behind it. I was going to order food and I’m allowed to wash my hands before I sit down. Why do I need to tell you I’m putting my Iced coffee on the table. She was working drive-through and clearly she threw it out just despite me like that is so crazy. I’ve never seen anyone do that before and a matter of less than 3 minutes and yes, I am posting her picture this is who did it to me I paid seven dollars for my drink and it was over half full as you guys know Starbucks is right beside A&W. I will never ever be going to this location again and that’s associate should at least give them five minutes before throwing there stuff away. She clearly needs to be retrained on customer service and not too touch people stuff...
