BRUTAL No RULES breakfast service ! Nov 7 5:50am So I went to A&w this morning for breakfast as a treat. What a MISTAKE at this location !

So first thing I show up it's 10 minutes to 6. :00 a.m. and you can't see the breakfast menu. Now I don't know who eats supper at 3:00 - 5:00 in the morning and that's not really a big deal. It's tone deaf to not imagine what type of customer comes through at this time. Anyways I can't look at the breakfast menu and I'm going into work like most of the majority of people at this time of day.

I figure out what to get off the menu with no help from the actual menu and I decide I'm going to get a sausage and egg combo with a hash brown and a small apple juiceand an extra slice of tomato.

Now to me that's an in and out. Usually under normal circumstances you're going to get something like that in like 2 to 3 minutes and it's going to be top quality.

I sat in the drive-thru at the speaker after ordering for about 7 minutes 🤯

Which is an eternity in drive-thru. And I can't figure out why they're not pulling people ahead like they normally do.

Normally you pull people ahead if there is a wait or get your food and drive on.

So when I finally get up there I'm kind of a little bit frustrated. As I'm getting up there i notice there was another person in the one drive-thru spot then the other drive-thru spot. Had a couple big boxes from the business that had blown into there or somehow gotten into there ?

So rather than go remove the boxes and do things the way you're supposed to, they're just going to let people get backed up in the drive-thru and sit there and wondering what on Earth is going on around this place ?

BUT WAIT it just gets better !

So I roll up to the window now because of this little drive-thru fiasco. I'm a little bit later than I want to be for work so I get going down the road. I open up my bag and oh I forgot to mention I ordered a tomato slice on there as a custom item because they used to have that on the menu and it's delicious with the sausage and egg sandwich.

So I'm on my way down the road. And I try my hash brown first thing. I love A&w hash browns. I think they have the best hash browns in the business normally. But I've bit into this one today and I think this is the first time I've ever tasted it like this. It was like soggy ? Like they half-assed cooked it and it was kind of mushy. The texture was off and I kind of just thought okay so that wasn't the best hash brown ever ? 🤷‍♂️

Little did I know that was not the end of my disappointment 🤨

I opened up my sandwich and I saw the most pathetic looking sandwich I've ever had at an A&w.

Not only was it missing the sausage. Patty. But it was also missing the the tomato. Both of which I PAID EXTRA FOR ! 😡

So after all this I'm going down the road and I'm saying " You know what I know I paid for all that stuff." I look on the bag for the receipt ???

NO RECEIPT ! 💣

And it's was the USUAL SUSPECTS who delivered this entire fiasco !

YOU MY FRIENDS ARE A DISGRACE TO...

3rd chance & LAST chance! added Jan 7, 2024 So it's been almost a year since we last posted a review for this A&W. Sad to say that have not addressed their quality control issues. We ordered 4 combos today-1 w/ fries, 1 w/sweet potato fries & 2 w/onion rings. The order cost over $71.00! For that price it should be done correctly-but it was FAR from correct or fresh. One entire order of onion rings was missing! The Nashville chicken sandwich came or a very hard, very stale bun and the chicken was only 2/3 dipped in the Nashville sauce. The cold brew with sweet cream had NO cold brew in it at all! It was cup of ice & sweet cream! I had to put my own coffee into it at home. Pretty rediculous mistakes & bad quality/not fresh food for $71.00. We may have stop giving this location chances to improve. They clearly lack attention to detail, push the limits on the freshness of ingredients to cut costs and have a low value on quality. Management, if you're listening, you need to shape up your location. This is an ongoing issue for you.

Addition May 6, 2023 So we gave this A&W a second chance today because our son really wanted it. Not only was their service SLOW, they shafted us on a entire burger AND a chipotle mayo that we specifically asked for TWICE while ordering! Yep, that's right, one of us didn't even get our supper that we PAID for. Management: get it together. Clearly the training and standards are significantly sub-par.

1st review: Was just served a MOLDY...

We love some onion rings and Bacon Uncle Burgers with the cold rootbeers (we love that there is no ice, that's right we love our money's worth of sugary goodness) Come on guys you know this hits the spot when you really need some antibiotic and hormone free, fresh Canadian Triple AAA Beef (just watch those commercials!)

Then grilled just right, topped the way they do their thing, and the crispy onion rings... I could write a country tune about it and sell Uncle Burgers like nuts perhaps!

This location is always welcoming, they love to see us rolling up 6-8 orders deep, sorry guys...

I forewarn them of the large food order, I'm a Food and Bevvie so I empathize, its only fair. In our community when we yell A&W everyone starts etransfering and texting their orders for their kids so they don't have to cook, what a relief! "Chubby Chicken with fries and a rootbeer, and for the love of God no cheese this time Nicole! You always forget he is lactose!" Literally my fault, oops, my server skills and data management are rusty.

The young adults working here are good at their jobs and they must be working to better themselves or they wouldn't be there representing the brand.
