Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ontario

So I have some good news and some bad news. First I'd like to say that their whole promotion they're running where you download their app to get a free pizza after spending. $15 is absolutely bogus absolutely fake. I know this cuz both me and my girlfriend tried to do it and it wouldn't happen. It wasn't working. They wanted you to pay full price. Also they don't control what happens on the app. Just what happens in store and they have no way to override it. This being said, that's basically false advertising. I've seen other people encounter this same or similar issue so they're advertising for free pizza, but they're not able to dispense it. So you're basically downloading their app for nothing. It's just to get app downloads. It's honestly disgusting. It's predatory. However, however I did have an also really bad experience at one of the locations which led me to call the manager and let them know of the basically the overall of what had happened. Plus the experience of you know going through the whole download of the app and just to be kind of ripped off in a sense. Not to mention some of the materials they post like the panormous and stuff aren't available at some locations. They will advertise that they have things available but they don't or the employees don't know anything about it. This is extremely difficult, however, aside from all of that, I vented these concerns to the manager. I believe his name is Alan and I also dealt with a guy named Ryan. They were nice enough to give me a $50 gift certificate on the house in order for me to have a better experience which I have. I was able to get three pizzas and some sauce and pop with all of this. And the service moving forward has been pretty good though. The location is small and not available for Eden or anything. Still some of the best pizza out there especially when you do their 50% off weekends because every weekend they have all pizzas for 50% off. I would love to give this place five stars. However, due to the issues and the ongoing and still not being able to get my free pizza for downloading the app, I have to give this four stars. That way there's room for growth and perhaps in the future this can change, but a heads up to everybody. Just know that they don't control anything that happens on the app. You can still order online. You might run into some issues, but if you do, I encourage you to contact the store manager, provide whatever proof is necessary and they should help to make your experience a...

I just came from this place! Picked up my grandkids from school and drove there and ordered a pizza and some wings. The young lady said it would be ready in 15 min. I went to sit in the car with the kids and went back inside about 14 min later. They were not busy at all. One lady walked in and ordered. Then a man came in and ordered. I stood for a awhile and then I sat down but they could still see me. I watched the two young ladies laughing over top of the pizzas they were making with no masks on and no gloves on and hanging over the pizzas they were making with their mouths open wide the entire time laughing and talking! I finally stood up after at least 8-9 min and said is my food ready soon? They both looked at me like I was speaking a different language and the one reached down and took my pizza and two orders of wings out of a warming oven below the counter! I asked them has my order been sitting there the entire time ready to go!? Neither one of them answered!! I said I gave you girls a tip! If this is how you are training your young people, better try again! I’ll never be back! Oh ya! At one point I watched the one girl drop an order of wings into the deep fryer and walk away and then the other one did another batch of wings. Then I listened to the one ask the other “are these wings done?” And the other girl replied “I don’t know, I didn’t drop them!” I just watched them each drop wings at different times and the one girl didn’t remember doing it!? Wth? Pay attention to your customers and what the hell you are doing! Cripes I’d hate to see...

Edit #4 5/28/24: Don't ever order delivery. It takes at least 2 hours longer than pickup. I have to tip some a)hole for delivering food 2 hours late? Just pick it up or go elsewhere. Mr. Sub Down on Second Street and Dundas make great food. God I'm angry. Stop tipping these a/holes until the company reforms their delivery. This is just kids games.

Edit: #3 Welp, Pizza Hut didn't implode due to inflation. The folks on at Dundas 5/10/24 @ 8:30pm figured out the importance of crispy crust. WELL DONE. You single handedly saved the future of Pizza Hut!

Edit #2 5/19/23 : I ordered the 5 bucks 5 bucks 5 bucks deal today and when I entered my online order I noticed that it's 7 bucks 7 bucks 7 bucks now. This is blatant false advertising on their website. It just keeps getting worse, folks. -1 star. Pizza Hut is imploding.

Service is fast and reliable so far(my usual PH burnt down on Huron and Highbury). The only problem is yesterday I got pizza of the day and a reward point freebie. Both pizzas lacked the normal amount of sauce so they were dry. Pizza Hut tomato sauce and crust are the reason I go there. It's like a Big Mac without Mac sauce when its over looked. Please measure it out a little better.

Update #1: Pizza Hut's website is utterly atrocious. I can't check deals at night for the next day at all and limiting me to being forced into the carryout/delivery route just to access the website is something from a decade ago and keeps me from planning my meals for the next day.
