Amiga's Bistro — Restaurant in Ontario

My two daughters ate here last weekend. Ordered food off the menu. Ate the meal. When going to pay for the meal, the bill presented was almost twice what was expected. They were told by the waitress “Oh those prices were supposed to be changed on the menu”. Pretty easy to pull on a couple teenage kids who don’t understand the scanning code of conduct or that there are serious ethical lines this restaurant was very comfortable crossing. Regardless of why YOU forgot to change your prices, it isn’t the customers fault. The waitress had 4 opportunities of contact to communicate this error. Unfortunately she waited till my 14 year old was standing with a bank card in her hand. Integrity matters in life. How we conduct ourselves is how business is also conducted. Very upset by this. Waited 20mins for a menu, ordered drinks ... waited another 20mins ... Food order still not taken. Saw a table beside us who sat down after us get served. Gave up and left, as we were walking down the road waitress yells at us our drinks we were ready. 40min wait just for a drink and our food order wasn't even taken yet. Told the waitress we waited too long and we had to get going and she yelled at us "well what I am I going to do with the drinks" . No apology for waiting 40min for a drink. I had the guac and chips, chicken chimichongas, and a Strawberry margharita. It was awesome. Best margharita I've had seriously! Simple ingredients for the guac made it authentic without all the added flavors you find in most restaurants! Love that they had authentic glass bottle coke and jorrito and they spoke Spanish to each other, which made me feel like I had traveled further than simcoe. It was about a 2 hour drive for me. Went there just to see what the hype was about. They didn't disappoint! I'm not local to simcoe, but...
