Bought an over priced excavator truck and opened the package to find it broken. Went back to the store with it still entangled in the net packaging and the owner accused me of breaking it and bringing it back by banging it against something. I just put it in the car and it was a surprise for my son’s birthday at the beach not sure why I would break something only to exchange it. Dishonest, disrespectful and extremely rude service. Oh and she also had the audacity to accuse me that I had come in 3 hours ago when it had been 30 minutes only and I had my receipt to show her the time but she didn’t even look at it because she was too busy insulting me. If you really have to buy something double check because they sell broken items to customers and then say no refunds and no exchanges. My husband bought some food and it was just okay. My daughter bought a $30 inflatable (just a simple tube that would cost $8 anywhere else) with my debit card without my permission. When I approached the Owner asking for a refund, she declined to help me. She confirmed in fact she was the manager and owner and when I pointed out she has discretion with being the owner and could choose to refund me, she chose no. It is not lost on me that I need to have a talk with my daughter, which has already happened and consequences are underway. It is unlike my daughter to do things like this, however she still needs to be held accountable. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and understanding. Ok so let me put things into perspective. This is a small casual place that serves double duty for casual eats and items to purchase for the beach. My friends and I ordered about $80 worth of food here. To be honest, we were pleasantly surprised how good everything was. I had the burger and fresh cut fries and they were both delicious.
