Waited to be served for almost 5 minutes with 6 visible staff working, with no customers in the drive-through and 3 people whom had just finished placing their order together right as I walked in. 1 staff was in the back making burgers, 1 was cleaning the floors, 1 was working on the order that was just placed and the other 3 were almost out of sight, standing around each other talking...when one of the chatty staff finally decided to come to the cash area, she proceeded to ask the people who had already been served what they would like to order, to which they replied "we've already been served, but he's been waiting for a while", she looked at me and asked "how can I help you?", not apologizing for the time I waited while they were talking. Made my order, asked to pay with visa, she punched in the numbers but forgot to confirm as she walked away, I was only prompted with a "Please wait" on the machine for a minute until it reset. She came back with my order a few minutes later, I had told her what happened, to which she replied "Yeah, well, it didn't go through, so we'll just try it again..." Implying that I had made an error and needed to redo it, which was an extra annoyance I could have done without.
I walk back to the home I'm visiting for the night, my confetti cake blizzard was poorly made. All the cake pieces and sprinkles were in the top quarter of the cup and just soft-serve the rest.
Even if it's the hottest day of the year, walk the extra minute to ANYWHERE but here, even to the Mac's for a Drumstick or F'real, you'll get much better service and product...I'd give this location 0 stars if it...
Read moreDairy Queen has some tasty desserts, with very average hot meals. The ice cream is what most everyone is coming to dairy Queen for so I won't comment to deeply on the hot meals, they are very average, overall I hesitate to say that they're worth the price. The ice cream itself is quite high quality with a variety of options for flavours.
As for the building itself, It does feature a patio as well as a set of large windows for indoor customers, that is certainly appreciated.
DQ could be cleaner, during my last visit I notice tables with trash on them and the floor needed to be swept. The service was fast and friendly, no issues there. What holds me back from recommending dairy Queen to everyone is the prices, a medium Blizzard is around 7.50$, Is it worth it? I would say so, but it is something that is definitely worth knowing ahead of time, it's these elevated prices that keep me from visiting more often. Overall if you don't mind the high prices, and are looking for a brief outing, dairy Queen can...
Read moreDairy Queen is great for an ice-cold treat, but they also serve surprisingly great food. I used to think their prices were on the higher side, but with the way prices have gone up everywhere, I’d now call them reasonable; still a bit high, but fair compared to other places.
They can get pretty busy, and tables sometimes get a bit messy, but staff make a consistent effort to keep the dining area clean and free of ice cream spills. You do need a key to use the restroom, which can be a little tricky during peak times, but I understand the reasoning behind it.
One standout is their custom ice cream cake designs, along with a selection of premade cakes that are perfect for last-minute celebrations. I’ve always been treated with respect by their team, and I’d definitely recommend DQ for a mid-day snack or...
