I've been hearing about Eggsmart in Paris on social media for weeks, and I finally decided it was time to give it a try.
The moment I walked in, I could tell it was going to be a great experience. The place was clean, welcoming, and filled with the comforting aroma of fresh food cooking. It was busy, but we were greeted right away and seated promptly.
I knew I wanted the classic breakfast: three sunny-side-up eggs, crispy bacon, white toast, home fries, and a black coffee. As I was ordering, I figured an orange juice would be a nice touch, and the server asked, "Would you like it freshly squeezed?" That immediately caught my attention, and of course, I had to try it.
The service was so quick it felt like the food arrived almost instantly, and everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs were done just right, the home fries were flavourful, the bacon had the perfect crunch, and the portions were generous.
But the highlight of the whole experience was that freshly squeezed orange juice. It was bright, smooth, and incredibly refreshing. Definitely stole the show.
Overall, the space was spotless, the team was friendly, the portion sizes were solid, and the pricing was more than fair.
Don't miss the chance to try the freshly squeezed orange juice.
And be sure to tell them...
Read moreGreeted at the door by the pervasive smell of burnt toast. Very small tables - they accommodated our party of five by seating one of us in the aisle - so that everyone walking past could rub up against me. Had to ask for a coffee refill. The coffee was unappealing - tasted like it was made with softened water. The orange juice, however, was excellent! They brought out four out of five of our orders, then we all had to wait for the fifth because they never gave us silverware; Waited five minutes for that. Then they forgot the side order. The food could best be described as adequate. The “pico de gallo” served on my omelette was laughable; four pieces of chopped tomato on top of a sprig of cilantro. I wish i was joking. The french toast was rubbery. The rest of our food was nondescript. Checkout didn’t take long - thankfully. Our server was friendly, just grossly...
Read moreMy husband and i just moved to Paris and went in half an hour before they closed on a Saturday afternoon.
The waitress was overly nice and said don't worry about time and that they have time to serve us. Great service.
I had a breakfast burrito which was 7/10, potatoes were good and coffee is good but overpriced.
My husband who was looking forward to an afternoon breakfast (his idea to go). Ended up paying over 10$ for two dried out shrunk pieces of bacon and two old dried out sausages. Burnt toast. A few large potatoes pieces and three half decent eggs.
We spent just over 30$ for two of us to eat a breakfast which would cost us under 20$ at Big Top in Hamilton where we moved from. No way will we be back. Worth the drive back to Hamilton for breakfast...
