Fast Eddie's — Restaurant in Ontario

We ordered a large crazy fries chilli cheese. It’s one of my family favourites. Been eating this since the beginning of time. Was so looking forward to eating this and enjoying every last bite of it. I got it and the fries were cold. The chilli or cheese was very absent in there. It was only on the top that made it look nice. But tasted horrible. Dry and stale. So disappointed I called to inquire. As this cost almost $8. The employee was a little confrontational at the beginning. After I mentioned I am the one who’s tasting it and I definitely know what fresh food tastes like. It’s not my first time eating it. He then calm himself a little and said to bring it back. I am on my way to Hamilton and are far into the highway. Plus it’s snowing. No way am I coming back. I wanted to bing this to your attention in case you may think people don’t know or care about the quality. He tried his best to sort the situation. It was a bit painful. Customers should not have to go through something like this in just ordering a meal. It should always be made fresh and to the way it needs to be. It’s chance and luck there. Would I go back. Not Going to lie, been staying away from all fast eddies since the first time I tried it 15 years ago, had some at the Cambridge store and the food would gag a maggot. Today In Simcoe however I was stuck and starving and figured I would just try it because I was right beside it and well, I was starving. I got some Diana’s Thai chicken burger which was actually pretty decent but the kicker was they have pickle fries. These things are epic. When ordering I just assumed they may have been breaded dill pickles but no, they were their regular fries but shaken in some dill pickle powder much like what you would shake on some popcorn. Anyways I am pleasantly surprised and would go back again if just for the pickle fries. If I had to gripe it would be the young lady put so much ice in my drink there was only about a teaspoon of pop but who cares?, they have pickle fries! Get...

Looks good on the menu and prices are very reasonable but food quality is low! I ordered the chicken sandwich and must admit for $8.99 a combo my expectations were not high but the chicken was a frozen processed patty. Others had hamburgers and cheeseburgers, again the prices are cheap but the sizes are why. I would pay more for quality chicken and a better burger. I will admit the burgers are probably bigger and cheaper than McDonald’s but I didn’t eat one to suggest how they tasted. The fries were generous in their size and decent but super salty, less salt and they would have been excellent. Service was fast and the girl working was very friendly. Drinks are $1 any size and they have what looked like decent milkshakes, didn’t order them but saw on the menu. I may give the burgers a try in the future but never again...
