Flossie's Sandwich Parlor - Belleville — Restaurant in Ontario

I am new to the world of Flossies! I have already been twice since I started working in the area!

The parlor is big and open. They also sell locally sourced items such as meat, honey, and pasta sauces.

From the moment I walked in, I was intercepted by extremely helpful and friendly staff. Both times, actually, I have had very good conversation while waiting for my Flossies sized sandwiches to be made.

Ignore the complaints about price. This isn't 'fast food' and if you are expecting top quality ingredients to be the price of a McDonald's value menu, then I don't know what to tell you. You are well aware of the prices before ordering, so having a review negatively affect a business based on your own choice is wild. But, to each their own!

The size of sandwich is huge and there is no skimp on the toppings or meat. If you've bought deli meat recently, you know it's pricey, Flossies still loads on the prime Italian cold cuts as if they got it for free.

I will continue to go back and really want to try a hot sandwich and their poutine.

Flossie's is always our favourite place to stop for a bite when we're in the County, and we were excited to hear they were opening a second location in Belleville that we could stop at during road trips out east. We had a chance to try their Belleville location and I'm happy to say it lives up to it's PEC counterpart. The sandwiches are an absolute flavour explosion and I appreciate that they use high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Their fries are just so perfectly seasoned and cooked, but if you're not big on fries, their mac and cheese balls are also a 10/10. Last but not least, the service is always great, and our last visit at the Belleville location was no exception. Kyle and Jimmy are incredibly genuine, friendly and funny guys, and any time we pop in to either location it's like catching up with old friends. We can't wait to be back (many times) this summer! Have given this place many tries. For the price you pay there should be no questions on what you’re getting. It should be good and consistent every time. Basic marks that should not be missed… serving fries that taste like they have been sitting around and then heated back up, picking rotten mixed greens out of you salad. These are little mistakes that shouldn’t be made with the cost that’s attached to this food. Not the same as the food I experienced in the summer in the county which is unfortunate. I like what they are trying to do here but they are missing the mark and quiet honestly it seems to take a step back every time I think I will give it another try. Unfortunately I am out of tries at this location. I will see what summer bring out at the location...
