Gators Fries — Restaurant in Ontario

Unfortunately, I have to give low stars after experiencing this chip truck at Zwicks for the fireworks on Canada Day. I understand it was busy and wait time was longer but the woman taking orders was not friendly. I can appreciate that she could have been overstimulated or stressed with the abundance of people but you’re in service industry, that’s asking for a tip on a separate machine with every order. We ordered just a fry 5$— I tipped her a dollar, paid debit. As we waited for 25 minutes for our fry, we watched all the food coming out the truck. The women with long hair handing out everyone’s food, should have had a hair net on, all of them should have. Her long hair was just flinging all around in her ponytail. We watched as she would hand out forks, grabbing them from the prong side and handing them to customers. We didn’t see her wash her hands at all in the time we were standing there. Although, she was friendly.. we couldn’t get over the sanitary of what we were seeing. Our order got called and she handed me the fries. One fell on the counter, she picked it up with her hands, and handed it to me. I told her I didn’t want it. She then handed me forks, with the handle side facing me and the prongs in her hand and again, I politely said I didn’t want those either. The fries weren’t overly hot for being “freshly” made (could have been cooked longer in my opinion but I like a crunchier fry) and I had to talk my kids out of all of the unsanitary things we saw for them to eat them. When I saw my banking, I was charged 7.50$. I was not informed that there would be a charge for debit and no signs were posted about it either. I looked for a sign because I was uncertain if they even took debit. They should definitely be conversing with the customers if any additional charges are going...

I and my family had ordered multiple items we had gotten chicken on a bun it was 3 overcooked chicken fingers little dice tomatoes on it and little to no mayo, we also gotten a regular fries to go with it they tasted like the oil had been reused multiple times so the fries had a old oil taste.We also had gotten a cheeseburger the burger was also overcooked and the pontine we had also gotten the gravy tasted like 98 cent gravy out of the can along with the bad tasteing fries. Over all just really disappointing experience i dont think i would ever go...

Update: went for my yearly poutine. Was delicious! Exactly as it's been every other time I've been! Staff (Amanda in particular) were upbeat, friendly and everyone had a smile on. Service was quick. Thanks for rectifying whatever was going on last year.

Usually the most delicious poutine ive ever had. That being said, last one I had was disgusting. Gravy tasted different, hardly any cheese. I didn't feel good after. Pretty disappointed as prices keep getting higher. Will return in hopes this...
