Homestyle Delicatessen & Bakery — Restaurant in Ontario

Products and service were excellent a few years ago. But service and friendliness has dropped considerably over the past 3-4 years. I stopped going there about a year ago due bad service and especially from the owner??? I went back again recently with the hope that there would be a change and sadly found the owner with the same couldn't care less attitude as she waited on some customers ahead of me. It was clear there were not enough staff on a Saturday morning and I decided to leave after waiting almost 15 minutes. I won't return until the store changes owner as it is clear that she has been at this too long... Covid restrictions has negatively affected a lot of people but this doesn't account for unfriendly behaviour started prior to Covid era... Unfortunate.... Hopefully she treats staff better than...

the Customer service at this at place does not even exist!!! I had no issues with there products. To me tho Customer service is everything. If you have a great product but don’t stand behind it with great service. That’s when I will no longer be a customer. Great local place for deli meats, breads and cheeses. It’s our weekly stop to get us set for our weekly groceries. Quite a variety of authentic Italian products.
