Finally going to share an experience that’s happened all too often here. It’s Tim Horton’s so expectations aren’t high to begin with. But at the end of the day it’s not cheap either, so I expect at least a minimum amount of quality and care in what’s served. Ordered a classic bagel sandwich, making sure to confirm I was asking for sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. Instead they put on tomatoes and lettuce. My biggest pet peeve is when someone making your food they can’t take and extra ten seconds to simply put together your food the way it’s supposed to be served. Taking a look at the picture of what was served, would you accept this if it was put in front of you on a plate in a restaurant? I mean I guess it sort of looks like it should be a sandwich. But there’s just no concern or pride in what they’re serving, just slap something together, wrap it up. There’s a lot of things wrong with Tims these days. Another issue is that they’re trying to crank out everything so fast that they turn the toaster speed up so fast that your bagel is barely warmed let alone toasted the way it’s supposed to, again all to save a couple of seconds, but it just reduces the quality of what’s being served. I’m done wasting my money for poor quality food that’s...
Read moreI'm very done with the grand Marais location. Today's order consisted of them cramming 3 fresh muffins into one small bag, thank you for the bag of smashed food. The timbits that they forgot to give me and then accused me of lying about, were hard and clearly not something that should have been served. These guys are always messing up orders it never ceases to amaze me how much they argue when politely asked to correct it. Variety is scarce, always out of the most basic menu items (like plain bagels) and I've been told several times that they don't have something in drive thru, only to park and go in to see that they do in fact have the item I requested. Coffee orders are frequently messed up and need to be corrected at the window. Quantity always needing to be repeated and corrected. This is my emergency only tim hortons and today it got bumped off the list for even that. It's coffee people - it's literally the business you're in. Do better
UPDATE: Tim hortons - thanks so much for sending me a dead link so that you can "hear more"...amazing customer service (I hope you can detect the extreme...
Read moreThis has always been our Tim Hortons for over 20 years. It's so sad that I'll drive further to go to another one now. If you order a plain bagel and cream cheese expect it to be pre-made in a bag with six other ones. Cold and waiting for you. They simply take it out and hand it to you. I counted six employees that I could see from the drive-thru window. I'm simply just not understanding why a bagel can't be made when ordered. Their slogan is always fresh is it not? The employees can be very rude on the intercom and are extremely disorganized. Of course are the few gems that keep a few customers coming back. Thank you to those employees that care about their job and take it seriously. I know there's multiple orders and it can take a long time to serve everyone especially in a Drive-Thru, but the weight and confusion at this location is ridiculous. The management/owners should step up their game as for South Windsor people this is a local spot for coffee and it sucks that we don't want to really go...
