Incredible Service, Delicious Food, Great Price - I was so impressed I stopped in the middle of my meal just to write this review.
I decided to order some Chinese delivery at about 10:10PM on a Thursday night...but it's London, so I knew my options were limited. Little Panda was listed as open until midnight, and honestly that made me doubt the quality of the food, like they would be a cheap fast food vendor. But I was SO wrong.
When I called, the person who picked up didn't sound rushed at all, talked me through every food related question I had, and actually told me so much about how they make their food - including that they make the spiced oil that they use on their "hot dishes" in house.
The customer service from the phone to my door was just honestly the nicest, I was really impressed. I already knew that if I liked the food, that based on the quality service I would leave them a good review.
And then the food came! For $27 (including a $2 delivery fee, which I think is imminently reasonable), I received a MASSIVE amount of food, like absolutely more than I bargained for. The price to food ratio is exceptional. I will be able to eat for two days, for sure. They also sent along samples so I could compare their in house spicy oil to a traditional hot sauce (which is water based, so burns more but isn't technically spicier). And they sent me fresh rolls, which I didn't even know I wanted.
The food tastes fresh, it's carefully made. I ate their two fresh rolls, I also ordered four spring rolls (I wanted leftovers). The spring rolls were crispy, not too oily, and filled with delicious veggies. I am absolutely addicted to good spring rolls and these were some of the best. I also ordered the chicken chow mien and the spicy chicken chow mien and they are both delicious, again not too greasy, the veggies are tender and the chicken is definitely real pieces of white chicken meat.
TL;DR: I am incredibly impressed, this is the first menu I've ever put up on my fridge, I will always order from this place. Great hours, great service, great food....
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Little Panda for 15 years, recommending it to countless friends because it was truly a hidden gem—the food was fresh, flavourful, and portions were generous for a great price. Sadly, my most recent experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.
After driving an hour round trip in rush hour traffic, I came home to find the wrong order and no receipt. When I called back, I was told for the first time that the restaurant now has new owners and an entirely different menu. Why wasn’t this mentioned when I placed the order? A simple, “Are you aware our menu has changed?” could have saved so much frustration.
After spending yet another hour returning to pick up the correct food, the disappointment only deepened. The quality of the food has completely changed. The meat (both chicken and beef) had an off-putting pink colour, the chicken balls were dry and lacked any freshness, and overall, every dish (5-6 items) lacked the flavour Little Panda used to be known for—except the deep-fried spring rolls, which were still good.
To make matters worse, portion sizes have noticeably shrunk, despite the prices remaining the same. For a family of four who used to look forward to devouring every bite, this time, most of the food went uneaten because it simply wasn’t good.
I don’t know why the new owners would completely overhaul a restaurant that was so loved by its community. Little Panda used to stand out in this city, and it’s heartbreaking to see what it’s become. After 15 years of loyalty, I can no longer support this place. My family and I are extremely...

As a long time loyal customer of many years, I've noticed a HUGE decrease in the overall quality of this food franchise. The manager (woman) that runs part of the franchise with her husband, treated my family with the uttermost disrespect over the phone while trying to actively proceed forward in our meal ordering. While talking over the phone, placing our order for a shanghai noodle dish (being a custom order which was 6+ times previously order with no problem) now became a problem with the woman manager who continued to cut us off from speaking, with commenting, "don't have time because I'm busy" and " it mix up order for other people". I then explain that I never had a problem with the chef making the custom order because they have on the menu that they do custom orders. After a long 10 or more minutes of arguing back and fourth the woman who is the manger gave the phone over to the husband and he answered saying, " yes we do custom orders... What would you like in your dish?". Mean while, the woman manager was so incredibly rude and disrespectful over the phone only to have her husband instantly say they do in fact take custom ordering. That being said, once the food was brought back home it was lacking flavor and I FOUND a nice coarse HAIR IN MY shanghai noodle dish, of all 5 dishes we ordered! Hmm.
As a long time loyal customer of many years I will now be taking my money elsewhere and ordering from a NEW Chinese franchise starting today because of the woman manger at this...
