Been going here regularly since it opened up. It’s close to me which is nice, but also, I hadn’t had good Hakka food since I lived in Toronto over 10 years ago. This is different from Toronto, but it hits all the right flavour notes. I’ve tried tens of dishes, and I haven’t been disappointed. The portions are more than enough food. Best is to share with friends and try a few dishes and I’ve always taken food home. Sure I’m a single guy, but every time I go, I see tables ask for takeout containers. Lots of variety and choices. Lots of veggie options, and dry or wet portions available. I like the Manchurian chicken, Hakka chicken, butter chicken, spicy noodles with beef, chicken and shrimp etc etc. quite a few dishes I still need to try, but I will in time. A fair bit of sitting room and that can rearrange for large groups. Takeout is great too. And the secret is that if you pay cash, it saves you the tax, and every dollar matters. So I highly suggest to visit. Check out their menu online, I guarantee you will find something you want to try.
There is a catch with parking. It is limited sometimes, and you have to register through some app or website from the business you’re visiting , so it’s free parking. A bit annoying but I feel it will turn like that at...
Read moreThe food here is really delicious and mostly neutral in taste even with all the spices and spice levels will be adjusted on request of customer. So I have tasted their Chicken Tikka and Lamb kofta rice bowl. Chicken tikka is really amazing felt like I am back in India, believe me it melts in mouth and the green Chutney is also really good. Lamb Koftha rice bowl was really awesome the meat balls are super tender and the desert I tried was a gulabjamun was also really good and when it comes to food the main thing that really matters. here you get a good service and chef himself comes to you to know how was the food. Lastly most people think looking for the price all the prices are really unbeatble in entire London for the quality and taste. Update from the food I have tasted from them in recent days. Dabeli,Papadi chat,Vada Pav these had made me remeber my college day evening roadside chats which I use to have in India. Thali and the currys they serve made me to remember the Dhaba style of recipes. I think my search for the food of the flavours had ended because its all here in London. I am attaching there...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Our server, Hassan and Beant Kaur, provided excellent service, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening.
The food was truly exceptional. We ordered: Dal Makhani: Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, this classic Punjabi dish was cooked to perfection. Paneer Lababdaar: A delightful blend of spices and creamy sauce, this dish was both flavorful and visually appealing. Soya Chaap Tikka Masala: Tender soya chaap cooked in a rich, aromatic masala sauce - truly mouth-watering.
Desserts were a highlight of our meal: Moongdal Ka Halwa: Warm, comforting, and indulgent, this traditional dessert was a perfect ending to our meal. Gulab Jamun: While the gulab jamun was delicious, it wasn't served hot. A minor improvement would elevate this dessert to perfection.
Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. With a little tweaking, this place could be truly unbeatable. Five stars,...
