I recently had the pleasure of visiting Marble Slab, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding service provided by Soumita. From the moment I walked in, her warm and welcoming demeanor created a delightful atmosphere.

Soumita's product knowledge was impressive; she guided me through the extensive menu with enthusiasm and patience. Her recommendations were spot-on, and it was evident that she takes great pride in her work. Soumita's passion for the ice cream craft shone through as she described the unique flavors and combinations available.

What truly set Soumita apart was her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. She not only ensured my order was perfect but went above and beyond to make the entire experience memorable. This location was the cheapest I've ever seen with the ice cream and mix ins. All of our ice creams were below the bowl line with mix ins. I only get two toppings and I asked for two scoops of gummy bears. They did one mini scoop and then the second one had two bears. They were measuring ice cream scoop weight on wax paper before putting it in the bowl. I've never seen this before in my years of going to different marble slabs. The mint chip was also not very minty at all. I won't be visiting this location again. It's a shame because we go so often in the summer and this is the closest location. It's worth the drive over to the one across from Masionville mall. Oh and if you're questioning this review at all, look through them. So many people saying the same thing about the cheap mix ins (which are supposed to be unlimited but they keep saying it's policy, uh no it's not it says it right on your wall in giant letters). They're just being cheap and trying to cut corners. Instead of changing their ways after all of these bad reviews, they do not take responsibility. TRUST ME, go over to...

I’ll start with the positive. Friendly staff member who said hello to every customer who entered. Delicious waffle cone.

Negative: only one staff member working so it was a 30 minute wait to order. The staff member has to weigh each ice cream, great for consistency, but it means needing to walk back and forth from the freezer to the scale 3-4 times for each order, making the entire process a lot slower. While we waited 5 customers ended up leaving, tired of waiting. Despite having 15-20 customers waiting in the store to order, the staffer would run to the iPad to confirm online orders (UberEats or something similar I assume?). I am sure this is part of the store policy, but when you’ve already been waiting 20 minutes and an Uber order takes priority it’s a bit frustrating. Numerous ice creams were sold out (no chocolate of any sort for example). “Unlimited mix ins” = 2 gummy bears per ice cream, 2!!!! For a 7.99 scoop!
