Roma's Pizza House of Windsor - A family review.

We ordered a large pizza and a 2L of Coke that came out to $36. This was on sale too.

The restaurant itself is a throwback to old family style restaurants. This pizza place is the last of a dying breed. The store was very clean and welcoming. The environment was warm and very comfortable. Staff were amazing. It was a little haunting being in here. It's a shame, such a nice location, but it was empty.

Pre taste - 4 - The pizza did not look very appetizing to me. Very small, thin slices.

Cheese - 3 - Not much flavor to it. Very thin.

Sauce - 5 - Nothing special. Couldn't taste it as much.

Crust - 5 - Regular crust.

Overall - 3

I really wanted to love Roma's pizza. The restaurant itself has a lot of charm. The pizza falls flat however. You're supposed to get 16 slices in a large and as you can see from my pictures, many slices are barely slices. More like toothpicks. The pizza is no where near the cost for the quality or quantity. We as a family would not recommend Roma's to people who've never had it before.

Final family...

First time here...looked it up online, was a bit concerned about the pricing for the pasta, but wanted to check it out. First, service was excellent...super friendly, prompt and lots of great suggestions and when I mentioned I was thinking about a pasta, she advised right away that the pasta dishes are basically double portions, which took care of my pricing concerns. So I ordered the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and "2 Meatballs" which I assumed meant the meatballs would be huge. This would be the ONLY part of the meal I found disappointing, the meatballs were just normal average size, would have welcomed a few more. That being said, the pasta dish was massive. The meat sauce was tasty, home made, slightly just the right amount of greasy and thick and delicious. And she was right, I was hungry, needed some comfort food and didn't think there was a chance I'd have leftovers, yet here I am at home with a bag in my fridge for lunch tomorrow. I happily give this spot a ⭐ 5 Star ⭐ review and plan on checking out what looks like a delicious pizza menu in the new year. ...

1st positive the waitress was great as always. We picked up our pizza tonight we have been ordering pizza for about 6 months always has been full of toppings and great crust. So when we got our pizza home tonight very thin crust and the toppings were way less than they normally are. We took pizza back there , pizza cook said it looked fine to her , didn’t try to say sorry or anything she said don’t yell I was on car phone, she had to call boss, I went in boss came I explained to him. He didn’t have a mask on by the way and didn’t even say oh sorry your pizza wasn’t like your use to, i said you could make a new one or refund- the 3 tiny pieces we ate , boss said he not custom to giving refunds and wasn’t going to make a new pizza , we said you just lost a good customer “ BOSS Said WE DONT NEED CUSTOMERS like YOU. What a horrible way to treat any customer, It wasn’t cheep I guess giving them 35.00 or more of your money at least twice a month isn’t good enough...
