I hate to do a bad review but from the service to the food quality this was rough. There were only 2 people in front of us in line, but it took 10 mins to get to the cash. I'd recently downloaded the Wendy's app and had a free chicken nugget, so I ordered at the counter and they tried to scanned my phone to get it. After several attempts and trying another computer they got it to scan. After 10mins waiting for my potato and burger, they tell me my food's ready, and I ask about the nuggets- it hadn't gone through, so I agreed to wait for them to cook the nuggets. Once the nuggets were ready, the cashier told me I would have to pay for them. I told her she had scanned the app and it was free, then another staff told me that I would have to pay. I told them respectfully I wasn't going to pay for them because I'd already paid for my meal and they should've been included in it. Then they went to get their manager who was able to process it through since I'd already made the purchase to have the nuggets included. The whole hoopla was over 20min, the complete opposite of fast food. And in the end, my potato had barely any cheese sauce and was just about undercooked (second photo is after I took my first bite- all shredded cheese, maybe 1tbsp of sauce on/under the whole potato.) I watched the guy working the potato station literally smash it flat with his hand, instead of slicing and opening the potato like they normally do. Wendy's bacon and cheese sauce baked potato is my favourite fast food item of any joint, so I was very disappointed. (If we weren't on a road trip, I would've gone back in to complain once I saw the potato.) To speak to the service/food quality, while we were there, 4 out of the 5 customers who were served while I was waiting also went back to the counter to complain about missing items (one woman even came inside from the drive thru.) Read moreThe employee who packaged my order putting a large orange fizz (ice cream + orange pop) in my paper delivery bag without any stabilizer or tray so by the time it got to me it was 100% emptied into the bag. the dasher brought it into my building soiling 20 carpeted stairs and a carpeted hallway and all over my feet when I answered the door. The Wendys GENERAL MANAGER told me to go ahead and pay a professional to steam clean the damage and that they would reimburse me. Rather than hire a professional who wanted to charge me double and wait at least a week for the service. I ordered a cheap steam cleaner and spent 3 hours in the heat doing the work myself on my only day off. Doing the work myself saved them half of the cost the professional wanted. After sending the receipt via email several times with no response I call back 7 days later and I am now being told they will no longer reimburse me. Who trains their employees to do this? Read moreWent through drive-through tonight at around 11pm ordered a Dave's triple with only cheese and ketchup a large chili and a small fry. When I got home my fries where extremely cold and tasted like they sat there for a long time and extremely salty. The chili was fine then I unwrap the burger to find out my burger had everything on it. So now had to drive all the way back (10min drive) and I go through drive-through and told them I ordered and told them my burger was wrong the person then asks me what I want her to do about it and I told her in a frustrated tone to remake it and told her again exactly what I want on it. She then tries to charge me for it again and now I am upset and told her I am not paying for it and drove to the window she basically throws the burger at me and says here's your burger and I gave her back the other burger and said here is your burger and left.
