This was absolutely the worst Starbucks experience Iāve had. After placing our very basic drink order with 3 people on shift, one person is running the drive through and making all the drinks for in store and drive through customers while the other two are stacking cups and mopping the floor at a snailās pace. After waiting more than 5 minutes watching this circus and zero action to even start our drinks (no other customers in store so they werenāt just trying to keep up with restocking or cleanliness) I asked if it would be long. The reply was āwhat are you waiting forā at which point we asked if we should just come back and make our own drinks. Julia clearly told us that they were very busy doing the tasks they had been assigned and that they were providing US a service (as if it was a favour and not something we just paid for) and if we wanted to make to make own drinks we could make them at home. They then had to ask again what we were waiting for. They pulled one ticket and made one drink. When we asked about the second drink they asked again what we were waiting for. The same one person making drinks and running the drive through was the only one who could dispense a basic coffee from the carafe. Juliaās attitude was horrible and her comments to the tune of āIāve had a really hard day and been here since 9:30 this morningā was an insult to anyone who works full time in a service industry and puts effort into customer facing interactions. Customer service at this location is non-existent, their attitude was that they were doing us a favour by being at work to make us a drink at their leisurely disorganized pace. There may be an assignment of positions in the store however common sense says āserve the customer who has been waiting more than 5 minutes standing in your store instead of stacking cups right in front of them and leisurely moving about as if they arenāt waitingā. As a frequent customer of Starbucks, there is a basic expectation of bright and polite customer service and an apology when a customer has to remind staff of their order and the fact that they are waiting while nobody is actually serving customers. Service and prioritization of tasks definitely needs some work at this location. Iād also suggest some customer interaction training for Julia. Maybe she was having a bad day but Iāve never encountered someone in a service position who snaps at customers as quickly and presents as so entitled that she clearly doesnāt understand that customers in the store, making purchases, pay her wages. Hopefully this review is helpful for the individual who assigns duties and positions at this location and may prompt some customer-first training (mop the floor and stack the cups later)...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service!! I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for nearly 2 decades and have never been so offended and so ignored in any customer service setting in my life. After placing our mobile order (Brockville Crossroads) on our travels back from Montreal, my husband and I ordered before going into the restaurant to ensure timely service to get back on the road. After using the facilities, we stood and waited and watched in-person patrons come and go while staff worked the drive through and cleaned. We patiently waited in front of the mobile pick up sign for 10 minutes. After that I started calling and waving to get someoneās attention. We were still ignored being told they would be with us in a minute. No one paying attention to the mobile order pick up. After 20 mins I finally got the attention of a staff member who was refilling ice. She was very rude and told me it is my job to āget her attention. Sheās busy.ā She threw my bag at us which was only half our order (now cold eggs and a cold, but should be hot oat latte). It took another few minutes to get the girl working drive througjās attention to advise them our order was missing. She started then to make the other eggs and nitro coffee. The original barista came to drop off the eggs and there was no forks inside, of which, she spent more time arguing that they were inside the āwhite bagā. Eventually I had to pull everything apart and āproveā there were no forks for her to go get some. Iām appalled. Absolutely appalled. Do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was very disappointed with the lunch sandwich I bought today at Starbucks.
I thought I was buying a Chicken & Bacon on Brioche sandwich.
According to the Starbucks app description " Herbed, slow cooked chicken, double smoked bacon, maple mustard, and cheese piled high on a toasted Apple brioche bun".
This is not what I was given. My sandwich only had herbed white meat chicken and smoked bacon on it. It was on an apple ciabatta bun.
NO MAPLE MUSTARD NO PILED HIGH CHEESE, NO APPLE TOASTED BRIOCHE BUN!
I called the Starbucks Cafe to complain. The barista said their Chicken And Bacon Sandwiches don't have cheese on it. She said this a few times while I was trying to explain that the App description was different. She did not address the missing maple mustard. I got nowhere with her. I told her I would call Head Office.
I did contact Starbucks Head Office.
I had an online chat with an agent. I explained what happened. She added $9 back onto my Starbucks Gift Card.
I am happy with this but...
There has been no explanation why I received a different sandwich than described on the App!
How many other Starbucks patrons have been...
