Wimpy's Diner — Restaurant in Ontario

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. In the past have went to the brantford Wimmys and it was good and enjoyable. First we weren't sure if it was open anymore as there is only ever 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot. We show up and there are 2 other tables dinning in the whole restaurant. There is no music playing and it is dead quite in there making it extremely awkward to even have a conversation. 1 wait staff 1 cook no sign of anyone else. For the amount of people in the restaurant or lack there of.. you would think the service at least would be ok.. this was not the case.. Kids chicken fingers was ordered which comes with fries.. we got 3 chicken fingers on a side plate.. I asked why there was no fries and I'm told I didn't specify.. yet I was charged for the whole kids meal.. after the food was delivered we were the only ppl in the restaurant.. all the food was bland with no taste. Kid of expected when its all frozen foods.. the price was surprisingly high for the quality. When the time came to get the bill the waitress was in the back talking to what I assume was a friend that showed up. We had to wait 20 mins to ask for the bill as she was in the back talking to someone with her back to us. Lastly, the place is filthy, the seats had old wrappers on them and the floor were dirty and looked like they hadn't been washed in weeks... my suffering is your gain here.. dont bother visiting this dive unless ur into over priced...

Experience was terrible! After we ordered our food, the waitress brought someone elses order to our table, without thinking. We said the food wasn't ours and she turned to take it away, but spilt my water all over me. She gave the food to the right people, but left half of it on our table; she didn't even realize until I brought the food to the right table for her. She then thought it would be a brilliant idea to sweep up the water with a broom; it did absolutely nothing. Then she got a mop, that was already wet, and proceeded to smear the mucky water everywhere; it wasn't cleaned up properly and muddy footprints were all over the floor. She put a "wet floor" sign on the ground and I swear that did a better job of cleaning it up than her (sarcasm). She gave me three paper towels to clean myself, but it didn't really help; my right leg was completely soaked. I also had to wipe the counter and the seat for her because she didn't do it properly; it was still wet. My father asked for a plate to put his tea bag on, but that didn't come until after he finished the tea; the plate was irrelevant. When the correct food came to our table, we didn't get any cutlery. We sat there waiting for 10 minutes without forks or knives. The portions were small; two eggs looked like one, bacon was tiny. We finished out meals and paid, and in that entire time I also never got a replacement water for what she...

What an absolute joke. Do not waste your money! My boyfriend and I came in around lunchtime today. I had a burger and fries and he had a waffle combo. My food was great but his food was cold. Typically we would have sent the cold food back but we were literally ignored for most of the time we were there. I had ordered a tea and a water with my meal, she brought me the tea with no hot water, and no cold water to drink. It was bizarre. She eventually brought hot water and then we didn’t see our waitress for about an hour. Another woman brought us our food. When we were finished with our meal, we waited 20 minutes before we could even flag someone down to get us our bill and takeout containers. The funny thing is, there were probably only about 10 tables at the time that we were there. They had 3 wait staff on, but they kept to behind the counter doing utensils and cleaning the blender or what not, completely ignoring everyone. They need to understand that with the economy the way it is, that sometimes one meal out is all a couple can afford, and to be served and treated like this for that one meal, was truly disappointing. Charging 45 dollars for two meals when they aren’t hot is awful. Charging 3 dollars for a tea bag is a joke, especially when the servers don’t seem to care to bring hot water.
