TLDR: Wrong order, charged for more expensive order, missing items, bland taste, meh customer service, items out of stock
This was a disappointing first experience. I ordered through skip and from beginning to end it was a bad experience. I ordered and paid for the Memphis combo which comes with coleslaw on top of the sandwich, they gave me it without the toppings so the classic combo.
They didn’t have samosas in stock so when I called them back the woman on the phone said skip was refunding me for the up charge. Then I asked if I would be getting wedges (the combo comes with wedges you pay extra for anything else) and she said ya I guess we’ll throw them on like she was doing me a favour but I paid for the combo? If I wouldn’t have called they would have just charged me for a combo but gave me the wrong sandwich and no side ?
Then I get it and think the worst is behind me when I bite into this grizzly solid meat that you would literally have to cut through with a steak knife. It was like chicken skin rock solid in long strips throughout the entire sandwich ? If it had been deep fried 5 times and then left under a heat lamp for 5 hours. The wedges didn’t even have salt on them.
It was honestly horrible and super disappointing. If you’re reading this do not order from here. It tastes like cafeteria food. I can’t begin to explain the food is the most bland freezer food I have ever eaten. It can’t be cooked there more like...
Read moreI was really excited for this place to open and really wanted it to be awesome, I really didn't want to leave a bad review for a business just starting out but this place is terrible. Here is my honest opinion. My buddy and I ordered$115 dollars worth of food for lunch so that we could try a variety and share with coworkers. We tried 4 flavors or wings and upgraded all our sides to mac and cheese bites, pierogies, onion rings, Cajun wedges, half price jalapeno poppers. The wedges were undercooked and they forgot the Cajun seasoning. The mac and cheese bites, pierogies and poppers were so blah, probably out of box in a freezer and heated up.reminded me of high school cafeteria quality. For the star of the show, wings from a wings business. Probably the worst I've ever had. I believe the sign says hand breaded or battered but these too I wouldn't be surprised if they came in a bag. They were awful. The sweating bullets flavor is between medium and regular hot at best. If you want wings I suggest going to any other existing wing spot, all of them are way better. I recently had incredible wings at couchiching brewery that were divine. Perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. Their sauce was like a little firecracker in your mouth. To summarize there is no skill or soul in this food. It's very franchisee. I will...
Read moreThey have to iron up some stuff 2 days after opening. I walked in, only one in the store, ordered 1 lb combo, came to just over $20. Three customers walked in after me. The said three customers got their order before me, they also ordered wings. Asked cashier update on my order, she said "two minutes". Waited another fifteen minutes, still wasn't ready. After 45 minutes I asked for a refund. They gladly gave me a refund and offered the wings free to be delivered to my residence. I'm not about free food and declined. There are alot of guys working in the kitchen and tripping over each other. There is absolutely NO system in place, they are new and still working out the kinks. $20 is a bit pricey for a 1 lb wing, but I have not tasted it yet. For that price, it needs to knock it out of the park. I will give them another try in a few weeks to see if there is any improvements. But for now, I will stick to wings accross the street at Kelsey's. You can only get better guys, you...
