Bought a coffee and tea biscuit this morning ,Sunday May 19/24 at Rossland and Thorton in whitby/oshawa. A young man who was at the order counter was a stiff like a 2x4 , no smile , NO can I take your order , or can I help you, just a nod with his head. There was only myself and another customer waiting for food , No one else waiting to order at all . There were at best 10 people in this place including staff ,who were busy chatting with each other. Received Coffee, and waited for tea biscuit . waited a few minutes until I asked where was my tea biscuit. In response a young woman working there, asked if I wanted to order one and pay for it or not. I said that I had already paid for it just waiting for the biscuit. Again the young woman in response, asked if I wanted to order and pay for it. Again, I said I was waiting for the biscuit that I paid for , but if it was too much trouble for them to give it to me and I can always go behind the counter and serve myself. I turned to the young man who took the order and asked him about the biscuit, all I received was a blank stare . I, finally with a louder tone of voice asked the young man for my biscuit since it was he who took the order. He hesitantly finally gave me my biscuit with a look of "why are you asking " The place was empty, no line up . just employees chit chatting and staring into oblivion . while customers have to plea to get what they paid for . I felt that Tim's employees perceive paying customers, should feel privileged and grateful for their time and service, while it is our money that pays for salaries. P.S. It is not the first time I have been at this place and not the first time something similar...
Read moreI want to take a moment to recognize James at Tim’s for the outstanding service he provides every single time I visit. From the moment I walk in, James greets me with genuine kindness and a warm smile that immediately makes the store feel more welcoming. He always takes the time to serve me with care, no matter how busy it gets, and he never loses his positive attitude. What stands out about James is not just his efficiency and professionalism, but the way he makes every customer feel valued.
It’s rare to find someone who consistently goes above and beyond in customer service the way he does. He remembers my usual order, is always patient, and makes sure that everything is right before handing it over. Even during the busiest rushes, he works quickly while still being polite and approachable. His great attitude sets the tone for the whole store and makes my visits so much more enjoyable.
James is truly an amazing part of the Tim’s team. Employees like him are what keep customers coming back, and I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the positivity and effort he brings to his work. Thank you, James, for always making my day better and for representing the store in such a...
Read moreIF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I WOULD. The bathrooms were extremely dirty. Sandy took so mf long to get my simple double double. He was yelling at every other employee that seemed extremely busy and vulnerable, and he himself needs more training. And when I got my double double it was so cold and they have a policy of being 20mins fresh. I know for a fact mine was sitting there all day. And even when I went to sit down all I could hear was one employee screaming at all the others which I realized to be sandy. And when sandy came out to clean the floor, he was so hurried that there were many spots left unclean. When I kept on passing over see the kitchen, I noticed the employees kept making mistakes because they were nervous. Instead of helping them, sandy kept yelling at them to do their job properly. The employees' space seemed so dirty. I don't understand when there's not even a drive through and such simple orders with so many employees, that the line only gets longer instead of ending. Overall it was extremely hectic. My first and last time at this tims. They need more training and respect...
