Booster Juice — Restaurant in Ottawa

Wait was long but I don’t mind a long wait if service is good. Unfortunately, it was a mess. They were making the wrong drinks, serving them in sticky cups with the drink spilled off the side, and staff did not know about dietary restrictions so they kept asking someone if they wanted different frozen yogurt flavours even though the customer said they were vegan and asked for no yogurt. They offered several different non-vegan options. Also asked them what drink size they wanted when there is only ONE size available for that drink. The customer knew more about the drink than the staff member making it. The staff member took the entire time to make that 1 drink that it took someone else to make 5 others.

I ordered a drink with vanilla frozen yogurt and by the time I was served the drink the frozen yogurt was either melted or diluted. I’ve had this same drink many times before and it’s never been this thin. I love Booster Juice and will still order from other locations but definitely not this one. I think they were just guessing ingredient...

Near impossible to drink through the given straws. No matter what I do (ie. clear the straw out and try a different area, stir it, etc...), their straws collapse in on themselves when trying to drink it (it's tasty though, I hesitated to give a 1 star as a result, but when you can't even eat/drink what you bought, that's pretty bad...). Went back and asked if there was a bigger straw, or one that was stronger, or even a spoon, but no dice. I'm not sure if they are not blending for long enough or what, but with this having happened the past few times, and having already reported the issue to them several times, I won't be going back :(

Update! :). Found from someone else they have a ‘double blend’ option —...

Great location but with this great location comes crazy traffic. It's not always busy but you'll have to get lucky...
