Burrito Gringo Mexican Grill (Merivale) — Restaurant in Ottawa

I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken through Uber Eats. I had to leave a review here because it is very limiting to leave a review on the Uber Eats app. Anyway, I work at Innes & Bantree St in the east end of Ottawa and my order came from this location on Merivale Rd. It took 45 mines to get my order, and it was cold. It's no wonder it was cold considering it came from far away. Why couldn't the order come from a closer location? Anyway, my order was also incomplete and very unbalanced in the ingredients. The fresh jalapeno was equivalent to a whole jalapeno chopped up on a small bowl. Waaaaay too many green peppers and onion mixture, and there wasn't any burrito sauce nor Mexican sour cream in which I ordered. I also ordered an extra sour cream and paid $1.75 for it. But the key word here is "extra" which means in addition to and considering there wasn't any sour cream on it I should not have been charged for the extra. None of this Uber Eats fault but the blame totally rests on Burrito Gringo, Merivale Mall location. On another note, I was charged $29.05 for a small burrito bowl through Uber Eats including delivery and tip. Ridiculously expensive, I might say. I believe that my review is fair because of the food being cold, too little of some ingredients and far too much of another as well as missing...

(update) I used to come here every week, because it was really good and that I enjoyed also the good service! Maybe this time it was a bad day, but hey 50 dollars for some burritos I guess I can expect some Normal treatment but during my last visit I was badly treated because I asked the guy to wear a mask while making the burrito! he refused and yelled at me that he doesn't have a mask and I was like, ok, can your friend who started my burrito wearing a sandwich take over again?(covid times! really?) also I noticed bad hygiene gloves handling one hand with a glove, the other without, then switching, then touching things around...., you are not supposed to put the gloves with your hands (unclean) because you already contaminated them, or after putting them on a contaminated surface, and after throwing things into the garbage... The guy yelled at me and yelled at his coworker, I wasn't welcomed at all, the girl was nice and took over but I wasn't able to know what is my order from someone's else! I just decided to never go there anymore. I came here twice because...

Just received the best burrito of my life from this place. It was massive- perfect because I am so hungover. The tortilla was stretched to its absolute limit- filled with the best pork, beans, corn, lettuce,onions and sauce I have ever had. And let me talk about the cheese. There was no skimping on cheese here. I had this delivered and when it got to my door the cheese was still perfectly melty. And it still is now as I type this. I wont lie this burrito fell apart half way through eating it, but now I get to enjoy the most perfect burrito bowl. I love burritos, and I've eaten them at alot of places, both here in ottawa and in montreal. I've been having about a burrito a week for like 5 years now and this is it. This is best one. Please if you do anything for yourself today, get yourself a burrito gringo burrito. And tip the staff good. They never skimp (all too common now at Chipotle and mucho burrito and all the others) and they always treat you so...
