So my office orders from this place probably two three times a week or should i say we DID order from them two or three times a week and we would spend on average $100 each time.. So to begin they are constantly late, They try to charge every order a $2 delivery fee even when we are placing 5 orders at once, then on top of that the drivers try to take their own tip. One of our 5 orders was $23 dollars and the driver was handed $30 and he gave us back 5 and walked away. How presumptious of them to think they deserve any tip. Then last night we placed three orders about an hour before they closed for the night and of course its over 45mins later they show up and one of the females here ordered a poutine and a hot chicken sandwich (from a greek place lol) and when they got here all of the orders were in paper bags and they were stapled closed, so she pays for the order and he leaves she then opens the bag and noticed that there was only a poutine in the bag she tried to run out but he was gone so we call back and of course they dont answer the phone. So tonight we place 5 orders and again he said I have to charge you $2 each and I said I dont agree with it but there is no point on arguing.. and I place all the orders then I explain what had happened the night before and the person on the phone said he wasnt working last night but he would deduct the $8.50 for the sandwich from her order tonight and I was satisfied with this response but when the delivery man showed up he refused to take the 8.50 off the Bill so he called "the owner" and I explained the situation and he straight up called me a liar and I told him we still have the reciept and he said we ate it and are now trying to scam them....UUHHHHH we just placed an order for over a hundred dollars and you think were so petty were trying to scam you for 8 dollars? I said this is very unprofessional and when we called they said they would correct it no problem and the "owner" said he doesnt care about what they told us and hes not giving us a dime off. I told him that was fine I will through away all the menus and inform all three shifts at my office to not order from GREEK TO GO again and he said he didnt give a F* about us and our business... IVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED IN MY LIFE.... needless to say we would never order from them again... especially seeing how NONE of the food is home made its all bought canned or frozen the chicken is always dry the dolmades are from a can and even the pita they send us is stale.... now i know why the two greek females who work here would never eat that crap .....ORDER AT YOUR...
Read more“Happy the fault that earned me such a pizza!” Inspired by the sentiment of my faith, I found myself in a situation that turned into a delightful experience thanks to Greek To Go. I originally ordered a small pizza, but due to a hiccup with my order, it didn’t arrive when expected. However, Syar, the manager, quickly came to my rescue! He offered me a medium pizza at no extra cost while still charging me for the small. I went for a delicious combination of ham, pineapple, bacon, chicken, and triple extra cheese. When it arrived, it was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed! Moreover, while I was initially offered one complimentary drink, I asked if I could have three, and they graciously accommodated my request. Instead of a frustrating situation, Greek To Go turned it into a wonderful meal and a testament to exceptional customer service. I appreciate their dedication to making things right, and it’s experiences like this that remind me of the importance of community and goodwill. As we reflect on our calling to share joy and kindness with others (Matthew 28:19-20), I can wholeheartedly recommend Greek To Go for their delicious food and commitment to customer satisfaction. I’m definitely looking forward to my next order! Thank you, Greek To Go, for a...
Read moreTheir website says “Authentic Greek” but owner and employees are not Greek. Ordered a meal to go, entrance was crazy cold, employees don’t know what real Greek food is! Pita bread was hot and tasted good, spanakopita was frozen from a box, wine/dolma leaves from a can. Hummus was horrible, couldn’t eat a second bite. Meat was dry and over cooked, hardly any tzatziki in my pita.
Owner measured ingredients using his bare hands, after coming in from outside where he was on his hands and knees repairing an outside door and he never washed his hands! Phones, counters, floors are dirty. Food is overpriced for the portion size. Owner should visit a Greek restaurant in Montreal and find out how far from “Authentic Greek” his food is! I will never go back!
Btw, I feel like the reviews must be fake, what are the odds that 3 or more people would review this place saying “found this little gem…” and oddly enough, these are the reviews that the restaurant replied to…
This place isn’t a gem, it isn’t even close to a diamond in the rough, the health department should drop in for a...
