I ordered 2 set of pulao roast combo! I am a regular customer of this place and I enjoy the food too. However, I added a note on Ubereats app, and I requested them to remove the “rice” and IF POSSIBLE to add another piece of chicken. The key word being “ IF POSSIBLE “ I do not feel the rice they provide is cooked fully and I am used to having a different rice type, having the rice make me feel a little sick so instead of wasting the rice, I advised them to not give it, and instead it they could, give an additional piece of chicken. Since I ordered two sets, 1 chicken replacing 2 rice if possible was my request.
I promptly received a call from the restaurant where a lady who usually picks up the phone talked to me in a demeaning tone, it was humiliating and this was 3rd time in a row. She told me “ No it is not possible but nice try “ followed by a really weird smirk. It was the tone that was quite unprofessional and upsetting. Saying no to a request is totally fine since I said if possible when making my request, but the bad tone, unprofessional behaviour made me feel disrespected.
I am a very regular customer, and I was so stunned hearing this lady talk in this demeaning tone every...
Read moreVery good value. Come here to get lots of food that tastes good for the cheapest prices within a half mile walk.
For cheap prices you get very good, spicy, homemade curry, even if slightly smaller portions it is a bargain under 10$ for a size that would run you 15-17$ elsewhere. The biryani is also excellent value for the same price -- I do prefer the curry though.
Burger combo is not the most amazing burger/fries, but it is consistent and good, it is half the price of the same purchase 'Burger 'n Fries Forever' down the street which is the quality and price if you ONLY make burgers (both restaurants are appropriately priced, offering good value)
I have yet to try the whole or half chicken. But given other reviews I am tempted to now -- though that is the sort of thing that I would find easier to just make at home.
Owner's are very nice and take care to make good food everyone can afford. It's rare to find a spot like this seriously targeting the low/middle price range and offering scratch made food for any of the items (like the curry/biryani/grilled chicken). Burger combos are admittedly not scratch for sure, but price wise are actually cheaper than fast food options...
Read moreI'm an Uber Eats delivery driver, and I've had a really frustrating experience at this restaurant. I've been there three times to pick up orders, and each time was worse than the last. The first two times, I had to wait a long time with no one helping me. The staff were all busy in the kitchen and didn't seem to care that I was standing there. On my third visit, one of the staff members finally came out and told me the order wasn't ready yet and that I should wait for 30 minutes. I did exactly that, but when I came back, they told me the order was cancelled. When I asked why I was told to wait, the guy didn't even answer me. He just started helping another customer while I was still talking to him.To make things worse, he told me the restaurant was closing, even though it was only 6:30 PM, and their Google page says they close at 10:00 PM. The whole experience made me feel really bad. I get that restaurants can be busy, but being ignored and not treated with respect isn't right. I really hope they improve...
