Worst food experience so far in Ottawa. There is no process for waiting time and no coordination between chefs and servers. Was waiting for 1.5 hours just be seated. When inquired on call about booking time, we ware informed that it’s on first come first serve basis. Hence, we reached well before time and placed our group in wait list just to get replaced by bigger groups in line. Absolutely worst management. Every time when we asked about how much more we have to wait, waiting time changed. Initially it was 25 min, it changed to 15 min and then to 35 minutes. Anyway, after eternity finally got the table just to be told that they are not serving Punjabi curry and also some of Chinese dishes ware not available. At this point it was already 9:30 pm and nobody wanted to go to another venue. Hence we ordered South Indian food and again waited 30 minutes for it. When we asked server name of dish so everyone gets their food, he took food to kitchen to know which dish is which. They also forgot two items from our order and sent one extra item which we didn’t ordered. I can understand they just started that the place and still ironing out some details but it seems like they have not given thought to even basic requirements of running a restaurant. I recently visited Honest Restaurant and tried a variety of dishes. Here are my thoughts:

Dahi Pani Puri: 5/10 The Dahi Pani Puri was just average. It didn't stand out much in terms of flavor or presentation.

Bahubali Sandwich: 3/10 I would not recommend the Bahubali Sandwich. It was disappointing and didn't meet my expectations.

Bhakhri Pizza: 5/10 I would not recommend. Cheese was less, bhakhri was quite hard and the overall taste cannot be compared to the one you have had in Gujarat.

Mysore Masala Dosa: 7/10 The Mysore Masala Dosa had potential, but it was initially served cold, almost as if it had been taken out of the fridge. Despite this, the staff immediately replaced it with a hot one after we pointed it out, which was appreciated.

Dabang Dosa: 8/10 The Dabang Dosa is one of their famous dishes, but it also fell a bit short of expectations. It was good but not exceptional.

While the service and hospitality were amazing, the food quality was inconsistent. The cold Mysore Masala Dosa was particularly unexpected, though the staff's quick response to replace it was a positive note. Overall, there were some hits and misses with the dishes I tried.

If you're planning to visit, you might want to skip the Bahubali Sandwich and Dahi Pani Puri, but the Dosas could be worth a try depending on your taste...
