Provides the perfect look out spots for bird watchers and a trail path for runners and those taking long walks. Read moreThis is a really nice, very easy, scenic trail in the Britannia Conservation Area that circles Mud Lake and incorporates some land around the Britannia Water Purification Plant.
You can access the trail off the Ottawa River Pathway and there are many places to park close by. You can use strollers and other mobility assisted devices as the terrain is pretty flat.
The path is somewhat narrow in places and you cannot go in certain areas, which I'm assuming it's a way to limit traffic during covid, but I'm not sure.
