Saturday night, December 2nd, 2023. We went there for the first time, the guy inside the shop he acting strange pacing towards the entrance way, myself and my wife we were browsing the menu online in our car in front of the shop. When the guy came out and stood in front of our vehicle then proceeded back in to the shop then came turned the open sign off, just after the mid night the sign raed 2am. Then he come out side and locked the door and tried the door many times to show and prove its was locked. We realized he was closing earlier instead of 2am. We started looking else where to eat. He went to his vehicle in the next plaza, drove out and drove back parked next to us, he then proceeded to us. He asked us why we are parked in front of his shop and interrogated us for being there. Telling us that, this is his parking spot he's authorized to force us to leave from there, we explained we were customers up in until he closed early. our concern, is he owning the parking spots in that plaza? There are many restaurants in that plaza. He made us feel very badly or we'd done some thing wrong, which infact we just going to try his food for the first time. He is a bald guy and he was acting very erratic and interrogation was un-necessary, we will never return again. The shop keeper need to learn customer care and Canadian culture. He had no rights to approach us in such...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kumpir House in Ottawa, and it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the kumpir. The baked potatoes were perfectly cooked, fluffy on the inside, and loaded with an amazing variety of fresh and flavorful toppings. The quality and taste of the ingredients really stood out.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They took the time to explain the different options on the menu and made sure that we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

If you are looking for a unique and satisfying meal in Ottawa, Kumpir House is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming...

Wow! This place is amazingly delicious. I had the Mexican potato (pictured) and my husband had a sandwich with fries. Both our meals were fresh and full of so much flavour. Maybe we should have been warned that the Kumpir potato was going to be ginormous, as we could have split it and probably still had leftovers! Great food is probably the most important thing when going out but the kindness of the gentleman working made this restaurant even better. I don’t know if he was the owner, his English seemed limited but he was so happy he made our meal even better with his exemplary...
