Have not been their in a long time. Me and my fiance went there to eat inside.
-felt very rushed to pick food from menu. Even though we just sat down and got the menu.
-waitress said special today was just 19$. But we saw the poster it said special was 29.95 why lie?.
-service was very slow everyone was waiting for food and to talk to waitress. And it wasn't that packed.
when i got my pizza. It was very greasy and I had to cut it with a knife and fork. I could not even pick it up with two hands everything fell off it. And it was still doughy.
my fiance got her spinach dip. All she got was 5 chips for her dip and it was very crunchy and hard. And she had to just eat the dip like soup with a spoon.
-when we were leaving and told the waitress our problem with the food. All she said was "oh next time you come back I'll fix it for you". they should fix it on the spot not. next time. I don't think I'm ever coming back.
-food is very pricey here. Everytime we go the prices are increased all the time by 3 or 2$ more. And yet the service is very slow and food quality had gone down.
Edit. Yes service was slow. Everyone was waiting forever for their food . And it wasn't packed in restaurant. As soon as we sat down the waitress right away rushed us and said what do we want to have. Without letting us time to order and think what we want.
Well response to ur spinach dip i can tell you it is not served with two hole naan bread i have photos of it. It tasted and looked like burned dried up chips and were sharp to eat.
Response about haven't been in restaurant along time. Yes we only go once in a while. Because everytime we come in you raise the priced 3 or 2 dollars. I know this because I have old recipts/bank statements online i can see showing how much it used to cost compared to price hike. And how little you get portions and customer service sucks. Also your website prices are way off then ur in restaurant menu prices need to change that.
And I disagree your pizza quality is not the same. It is very greasy now hard to pick up the pizza everything falls off the pizza. No taste from pizza just straight grease taste. Very doughy too had to cut it with a knife and fork when I was their. And it was still doughy.
You would think good customer service after I told the waitress she would tell the chef and get it fixed and sorted right away but no she didn't all she said was next time. Well if you make a bad taste in a customer mouth they aren't going to come back.
-the waitress said the exact special in the front of the restaurant was 19$. But it was 29.95$ and we overheard someone else too ordering special too and she said it was 19$ to them Aswell. But front poster said 29.95$. If it isn't the front poster price in the front the restaurant you should move it away from costumers eyes. Because that is false advertising.
also everytime I called it's like when they pick up the phone they are always mad or dont want to talk to customers just rush them off the phone.
-also whenever you are paying ur bill the waitress or anyone that's handing you the machine to pay ur bill. Stares then when it's paid stares at recipt to see if you tiped them. And if you did they will be really happy to see you next time. But if they saw on recipt you didn't tip them then they will ask what could they have done better lol. Man tipping...

After seeing the sights in our nation's Capital we went looking for a place to enjoy a dinner that wasn't produced by some minimum wage employee working for a chain. Upon finding Newport, we could tell from our car driving by that we needed to stop as the enclosed patio seemed filled with locals who clearly knew something we didn't.
As soon as we walked in and smelled the freshness of the ingredients and felt the warmness of the staff we knew we'd stopped at the right place.
The pizza it's self was fantastic, The dough tasted rich and freshly raised with a hint of real yeast and hand folded and tossed consistancy rather than just some frozen frisbee crust. The tomato sauce was flawlessly spiced and prepared and the cheese and meats were cut by a butcher not a machine. You can tell that the owner cares not only about his customers but his product.
If you are looking for a taste of napoli and won't settle for anything but a true certified italian za, this isn't for you. This is a thicker more traditional Canadian Home made pizza that is hearty and filling, not a cracker with toppings but a meal in it's self (although we did also order the spagetti and meatballs just to try that too and it was great)
I wish more people took as much pride in who they were and what they did as the owner of this place, he was great, polite, kind and asked us how things were and what he could do to make our visit better. He even tried to excuse himself for being a little slower than normal as he'd hurt his arm recently. Still he was more engaged in serving us and the other tables than anything else and our meal was brought out rapidly and without anything missing. There were a few other guys trying to rush out and being a little rude and the level of customer service he showed them by being understanding even while very busy with multiple tables was a class in understanding that the customer is always right. Say what you want but Moe's generation understands that in a way these kids staring at thier phones all day will never get.
Thank you for all you do Moe. This place is now on our family's map and we will be back one day for sure, we only hope to be sat in your section, your attitude and work ethic is as satisfying as the...
Read moreAt first glance, you'd think you wree near a dock in the maritimes, which is an awesome thing as there is nothing better than a warm feeling to the place you are about to enter and relax. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by not 1 but two employees with a natural smile...that's a good start. Now it was fairly busy being lunch hour but from the moment Ileft my car and walked up to the front door, even the grounds of the restaurant were CLEAN. Opening the door and experiencing a genuine greeting, the first thing I noticed was clean they kept the place even during a very busy time.Knowing I was in a hurry to pick up and deliver they took the time to ask me if I would like anything to eat and drink while still premming my order...not just multitasking but being considerate That is real customer service, but it gets better...they have a top notch expresso maker and the barrista, greeter, waitress make me a cappucino that could rival the dedicated coffee shops near that area...so if you want a high calibre cap or expresso you now know a hidden gem to get one. Now as for the food, the pizzas were epically well prepared, smelled fantastic and tasted even better..careful all you commercial pizzerias you now have some stiff competition...their menu is quite diverse, there's something in it for just about every taste, and before entering I asked a couple leaving what they thought and just as my experience, this place...
