Mr Shawarma — Restaurant in Ottawa

Food is awesome, by far my favourite Shawrama and I live down the street. Never have problems with the food. However...the staff is EXTREMELY rude. Especially the blond lady that's usually on cash. I know life gets hard and iv been in customer service jobs before so the first time I let it slide. But the last three times we have gone in there she is ALWAYS on her phone, asks you to repeat yourself 4 times and taps your order in wrong. All three times she has added something that I never ordered, gotten the order on the screen wrong after having heard her co-worker explain it to her and me, the customer. Hen after you correct her, the attitude starts.The man at the table with rice and potatoes ignored me the last time in favor of my boyfriend. Who in turn called him out for ignoring me when I had started to speak first. I never feel welcome in this store at night and the lady behind the cash just gets on my nerves every time with the weired looks she gives us, the phone issue, and the fact she cant listen when your being rung up. Also, last time we were there we had gotten our food and sat at the back table with the steps to stay away from the staff while we made an international call with parents and in the middle of the call all the employees seemed to think the store was empty and started talking to eachother in another language very loudly, almost as if they were argueing with eachother. The blond lady went to the garbage to change it and she turned around to see us and suddenly the store was quiet again once she got back to the cash. I see in the comments the staff and their attitude is a problem and the owner keeps "Sending an email to make sure staff dont joke around" which is clearly not working. Again, food is great, but do not expect a warm atmosphere. We will not be dining in any longer...

i Usually come to this place and they always have friendly staff and nice people, well one person that works here made sure that i will never come back to this place ever again. The new lady that works there is very rude to my friends and i and always glares at us. i Ordered my sandwhich paid for my order and asked for me to pay it again... I was confused and told her i had just tapped my card and it made the correct sound when a transaction has gone through(Working in retail in 3 years i should know). She then tells me "Oh no it didn't go through". I told her it did and even showed her proof on my phone and she continued to argue with me. Take it in i never got a paper receipt for my order, kinda weird right? I didn't back down and told her that i had paid for my order and then she checked in the system and found out i was right all along. She didn't even seemed sorry for trying to double charge me for the order. Please be aware with the lady with the red hair at this restaurant, she makes all the other...

Baseline at Pinecrest location... Purchased a small chicken sandwich to go. Tasted fine but good Lord they put VERY little chicken and just a smidge of veggies. I was standing right there and said I wanted extra tomato, turnip and peppers. I asked for more. He got one more turnip, one more half tomato and two banana peppers. I was in shock, looked up at him and said are you serious? I once again asked for more veggies. He then gave the exact same amount again. Then I mentioned there was no lettuce put on. He then put the equivalent of a tablespoon on. I thought I was being punked. THEN he put on the chicken. No lie, it looked equivalent to two slices of deli meat. Maybe 1 oz of protein. I told him I couldn't believe how little he gave, he gave a cocky smile and turned his back and put it in the press. Won't be returning to that location ever again.
