First of all the owner was really rude. Let me tell you why. We walked in and obviously since its Eid there was a wait. Ok we're fine with that. Understandable. We finally got seated. It was a dinner party for my brother and sister who were visiting from Toronto. It was a dinner party with kids. We had to wait for over an hour for our food and nobody came and told us why it was taking so long and no one came to offer us water. When the food finally arrived we noticed that there was hair on the table and my brother had to clean it when the waitress pointed to the strands and rudely said "move those out of the way." Needless to say, the waitress was rude. Next, after we ate we realized that the korma included in the family pack never reached our table. So, my sister and I went to the counter to talk to them. We kindly requested a refund for the korma. Nothing else. Just the korma that we never got. The waitress agreed and was just about to offer us a refund when another waitress interupted and said no that's impossible. I cannot give u a refund. " And then when we insisted that we didn't want it packed up because we were done eating and didn't want to take more food home, she rudely said "fine I'll pay u the four bucks" A korma DOES NOT COST $4. When we pointed that out she went inside and the owner came out and started arguing with us as well. My sister kindly and respectfully explained to him the situation and he refused. The conversation escalated. The owner began to raise his voice at which point my sister pointed out that service on top of all that was horrible as well. He asked why we didn't say anything when someone came by to ask if everything was okay. NEWS FLASH: NO ONE CAME BY TO CHECK UP ON US. IN FACT, THEY GAVE US A DIRTY SPOON. When my son tried getting their attention to ask for ketchup he was unsuccessful. The owner, after hearing all this, rudely tossed a $5 bill at us and said here This is what I can give u for the korma. Also, my bill was over $140. After leaving I realized that on top of the korma they had charged us for TWO orders of Mantu. We only ordered one and only received one. So not only was the owner rude and disrespectful but the waitress got the order wrong and charged us for things we did not even...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer, frequently ordering for my family and spending over $200 at this restaurant every time. However, my last experience was beyond disappointing. I ordered butter chicken, a dish I’ve had here many times, but what I received was nothing more than tomato soup with chicken cubes. When I politely pointed this out to the waiter, she assured me she would call the manager.
The manager never came, so I went to the front to express my concern. Suddenly, either the manager or chef came out aggressively, yelling that this was butter chicken. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he sarcastically said, “This is soup and chicken, do you want me to put a stick of butter in it so you’re happy?”—completely condescending and disrespectful.
To make matters worse, when I asked for a room-temperature water bottle, the waiter said they didn’t have any but could microwave a cold one for me—completely bizarre and unprofessional.
I have supported this restaurant many times, but after this experience, I will never return. Instead of handling a simple customer concern with professionalism, the manager/chef chose to be rude, defensive, and dismissive. He didn’t offer to replace or redo the dish—just took it away and said, “Okay, now you don’t have butter chicken.” Absolutely unacceptable customer service.
Avoid this place if you expect even basic courtesy...
Read moreI honestly do not know where to begin, my wife and I decided to take my parents out for there 45th anniversary and we booked a table for 4 at Supreme kabob house. Upon arrival we waited close to 10 minutes to be seated with plenty of seating available, another 5 minutes for a glass of water and some menus. We all thought it would be wise to try some different dishes, my family patiently waited for 25 minutes when we all began wondering where our food was. I asked my obnoxious and rude server if our meal was almost ready and she did nothing but tell me "your food will be ready when it gets to your table"!!! After feeling a little embarrassed in front of my family and wife I was looking to speak to a manager and was given blank looks by our server. Anyhow another 10 minutes past our food came out and I cannot believe the chef had the audacity to serve us what almost smelt like spoilt and rotten meat. The beef shami kebabs were burnt on the edges, our chicken tikka was greyish in the centre most likely due to undercooking and our beef chaplee kebabs looked and tasted like a hockey puck! All in all our bill came to $75 and with no manager in sight we left feeling sick, hungry and most of all ripped off. NEVER AGAIN! There are plenty of other options in the west end of the city and Supreme shouldn't even be considered anyone's...
