Olga's opens Monday to Friday, but if you happened to pass by on a Sunday and the owner is there you may be invited to join him for breakfast which happened for us. We had the best fried egg sausage and cheese omelette breakfasts for our party of 4 that we have experienced in a long time. Accompanying the meal was great conversation about the origins of Olga's and the life of the team back in there 20s, couple that with the best prices in Ottawa and these Aussies visiting for the first time where suitably impressed I even went home with the biggest and best smoked meat sandwich I have ever had. I fricken love Olga's. Everytime I come here the food is delicious, like straight out of your grandma's kitchen. It's made fresh in front of you. All the people working here are nice. It's pretty no frills which is perfection and so needed for this area. I mean no frills in the best way. The first time I came in I read "deli" and figured I could get like 200 grams of smoked meat so I went inside and ordered that and they laughed explaining they just make sandwiches here. Olga's is the full package! Randomly saw this gem driving on Bank St and had to stop. What I found couldn't of been better. A personalized friendly approach, with great customizable cozy food, in great quantity and quality for an unmatched price point. I personally had the Philly Cheesesteak and it's the best I had in my life. Everything was fresh and taken care of has a piece of art. Two meals, a soup and a drink set me back 26$ bucks.
