Papa Joe's - Prince of Wales — Restaurant in Ottawa

We’ve ordered from gios for years when it was originally Geos on meadowlands. Lately they’ve been going downhill with the new staff. We pay for things to be added and they are constantly forgetting to add the items yet charging us for them. So obviously we complain the following time. Tonight was the last straw when my partner opened his sub to find raw bacon. We called to complain that it was raw and the staff argued with us saying that “It’s not raw it’s our new company bacon. Do you not like sandwiches?” As someone who’s worked in the kitchen in the past I know what raw looks like. It was not edible. The man continued to argue with my partner and told him to “ walk the sub back if he didn’t like it” He then showed up at the door saying he was going to give the money back and argued about it being raw. Saying the we call and complained 5 or 6 times. (Which normally happens when we pay for items that are missing) We told him to keep the money we just want the sub fixed and then he said “to never call them again”.This has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever received. As loyal customers for years I am completely disgusted by their lack of customer service. You may receive good service at times but god forbid you receive the wrong order then they yell and argue with you. Done with this place. Do...

I am a regular customer of this location and I have tried all their subs and Shawerma sandwiches. You have the choice to order from Shawerma with the pita bread or with their own crispy bread coming out from different specialty oven. I love this specialty bread.

I love their garlic sauce you get addicted to it. I have read some of the reviews and some customers I guess didn't know that there are 2 kinds of bread. For me I like the bread that they make it in the special oven, but I guess everyone has different taste. I tried their Pizza and they are not cheap with putting Cheese and all toppings are fresh and they put a good amount of them. I have been to too many Pizza joints but in my opinion they have tasty wings and Fried Chicken I would go back and will recommend this place to my friends for sure they will not be disappointed. Thanks to all the employees at this Papa Joes because they were open during the pandemic and they were offering us great service while everyone was staying home, they were feeding our community and taking risks with their lives so We should say thank you and Appreciate those employees and the management team. Worst and cheapest pizza place I ever had. The owner mush asked us what he wanted we said 2 xl cheese pizzas. He said want slices they are ready now. we said no! We can see the slices looking like 3 day old pizza from how rough it is. so we wait and 7 minutes later he brings out our pizza and insist we eat it here because it cut up for us. The pizza we served us was the slices from 3 days ago. I can even see spot were pepperoni wear that he tried to hide while pulling them off. That is so embarrassing cheap and pathetic to do. When confronted he lied and then when asked to show us the slices he said they are sold out. we were the only ones there. Then we said I wont charge you drinks we got 3 waters. The bill was $60 for 2 xl cheese pizza ?????? Are you kidding me no drinks wear charged to he said. I will never be going back to this places this guy is very dirty and wouldn't be surprised if he screwed around with his food on people...
