Unfortunately, a disapointing experience today at this store (1914 Bank). We visit this location once or twice a week, always around the same time (8:45), and the service is usually much better.
Walked in today, no one in front of us to order, but saw 3 people waiting for their drinks near the counter. Our order was for two drinks, nothing special. We waited 17 minutes. We know the exact time because we paid with the app and have the time stamp. No apology for the wait. When we pointed out the fact that it took so much longer than usual, the manager turned her head toward us for a second and said 'we're training someone today' before turning her back at us. I replied that by the time we had our drinks, they served 9 cars at the drive-tru window, she just repeated, 'training today', unapologistically.
Commendable efforts put on the drive-tru service (3X faster), but at the same time, if someone is being trained, perhaps avoid busy moments to do so, or just say it when people order, that it will take longer. 17 minutes from the moment we paid, that is slow service, all while seeing drinks being prepared and served at 3 times the speed at the window.
I rarely write negative reviews, and would have not written this one if the manager had shown an iota of sympathy, but she just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis first time visiting there, and the shop is clean, today and organized, I ordered on the mobile app in advance and went there to pick it up, Long story short, I don't usually visit Starbucks regularly but it was my Birthday so yeah, went there patience waiting to be served then a young gentleman barista said hello and told me someone will be there with me soon, okay so I waited 5 mins later a young lady barista say hello and welcome me with friendliness, but again this is my first time visit so she told me to pick up my order at the end of the counter. There was only one cup left on the table and I saw my name on it,
I didn't want to be rude and grabbed my coffee and left, so I waited just to be confirmed by the staff that my order was. I waited for almost 10 Mins, another young barista lady was staying there, who looked at me and said nothing and pretended to be busy and didn't even ask if I needed something then went to the storage room š
Until another barista finished his job and then confirmed that, that cup was my order (the one left on the counter)...

Worst attitude, worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life anywhere. She argued with me for 5 minutes because my latte had no coffee in it it was just steamed milk. They forgot to add the espresso and she wouldnāt remake it without saying she was going to charge me another latte. I even asked her to take a sip for proof. My husband and I are shocked and will be posting about this experience on the corporate website as well. Shame on you for calling us liars and doing absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. We were customers for 20+ years and this will be our last Starbucks coffee. Train your staff on proper customer service and fire staff with serious attitude problems that donāt deserve to work with the public. Like ever. If I ever see that girl in public, I will definitely be treating her the same way she treated me at the drive through....
