Subway — Restaurant in Ottawa

Sandwhich was expensive and mediocre and didn't tell me they charged for bags when I accepted one. $22 for a footlong combo with barely any meat is greed at its finest.

The lid of the fountain beverage drops into the cup (must be their own design because I've never seen one like it at other fast food chains) which means they also save money on giving you less soda.

Edit in response - my review is based on the location AND subway itself. Other subway locations don't charge for bags, and I only noticed the charge on the receipt when I got home. I'm not wasting dollars of gas to correct something that I was not informed of. I was not asked or told of a charge, so yes, while it's only 15 cents, I was charged something without informed consent when other locations do not charge customers for bags.

Also, the sandwich I got was essentially what used to be called the chicken and bacon ranch melt, but I guess the price went up because of a name change. There was in no way extra bacon or chicken on it either compared to previous years, if anything, it's less (and I never get cheese) so it doesn't justify a...

Came in Tonight looking to get a Tuna sub sandwich, entered the door to greet the younger indian woman and was ignored she just stared at me for like 2 minutes I guess a "welcome to subway what can I get for you" isn't good enough for her, I was kinda already annoyed by her ignoring me and not greeting me so while she just looked at me while I order, I decided to be petty and stare at her and not say anything, after a while she finally asked me for my order and she made my sandwich with a knife instead of a scoop. got little to no tuna and was overall a bad experience don't think I'll be returning. Ok so when we had our 12 inch subs made, the gentleman in the back went to grab some olives from the back when he noticed they were running out. He came back and continued making our subs without changing his gloves. Is it just me, or is that not a great idea? We promptly asked him to change his gloves and he did but without saying a word. Let's face it, when your getting paid minimum wage, service isn't going to be your top priority. But....I do give our minimum wage workers a big thumbs 👍 up for working hard every day. They have some of the toughest jobs and some are doing it with a smile on their face...
