⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — A Place That Feels Like Home Away From Home!

If there’s one place we always look forward to visiting in Ottawa, it’s The Curry Palace. Since 2022, this has been our absolute favorite spot, and even though we live in Montreal, we’re always finding reasons to plan a trip to Ottawa just so we can eat here. That’s how much we love this place!

The moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed like family. The owner is exceptionally warm, always smiling, greeting us personally, and making sure we’re well taken care of. What makes it even more special is how he always remembers us — from our favorite dishes to how we like them prepared. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine hospitality these days, and it’s one of the many reasons we keep coming back.

Now, let’s talk about the food — absolutely incredible. Hands down, they serve the best momos and chaap in all of Canada. Every bite takes you straight back to the street food stalls of Delhi.

We did takeout based on reviews because our first choice was closed for the long weekend. And by am I glad we took the risk. The food is great overall, but the momas and appetizers are something I had never tried and really yummy. I liked every one we ordered. The spring rolls were my favorite because they have a bit of saltiness that makes way to sweet savory and then the kick of spice. I couldn't stop eating them.

Prices are consistent with all the local Indian places.

The staff are friendly. Not really an ear in restaurant so the sitting area is small and more for waiting to grab your meal. As such, it's fine...

The curry palace have been a special and go to place in ottawa anytime for me or we as a family, if got hungry, as it's hard for us in ottawa to get nice, tasty and reliable dishes when it comes to authenticity and cleanliness in regards to food. Waited and now these guys are back with same quality and affordable prices. I remember not just their catering services follow the instructions as given but are very pocket friendly without any complaints or compromising with food quality.
