The Mill Tavern — Restaurant in Ottawa

So we, like another reviewer, (who upon reading that review I thought I should review as well), ordered chicken wings, a couple of pounds (over priced) a while back and to say they were not cooked enough is an understatement. I’m talking raw chicken that my son ate before I noticed and we spent 12 almost 13 hours at cheo’s ER whilst he yakked in a couple of few bed pans!! Of course before realizing how sick he would become we got our food that was undercooked as well, everything was cold and we asked to speak to the manager. He came probably a half hour later (we’re starving at this point) and the douche bag said “chicken can be a little under, it’s not going to hurt anyone “. Salmonella you effin fooool. I ask him for the name of the owner. He said it was he.

I have never felt so dismissed dismayed so unsafe and brushed off in my life. I was going to rant about the rubbery calamari and the soggy, sopping with disgusting old deep fry oil, but I think the chicken wings speak volumes, yells really. ZERO STARS!!

This place needs to be inspected and have their grade posted in the window like they do in New York City. Because if I were inspecting and trying and eating food, it would get an F minus plus extra minus. STAY SAFE BY STAYING AWAY...

I think I just walked into an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I was picking up and uber order for a customer, and politely got the attention of one of the waiters who pointed me to the kitchen area and told me "someone in the back will get the order". Which made sense as I saw another uber delivery person coming out of that way with his order. When I went, one of the kitchen staff started to yell at me, telling me to "get out", and that I cant be there. I politely and calmly told them that I was told to come here. Then the two waitresses ran towards me and starting screaming at me and telling me the same thing. I smiled and explained the situation briefly and then headed out without wanting any further drama and making a scene in front of the paying customers. I have never in my life have seen such a low level of professionalism and disrespect. I delivery drive after my full time job to provide for my family, and I treat all workers with kindness and respect as I know that they are doing the same thing. This was a very disappointing experience and I hope that some of the staff there can do a better job at treating others. I was in there one night and my chain was ripped of my neck That night the bar staff had it and said it was put away in a safe place next day when I went there they said they couldn’t find it So I called and I spoke to one of the owners she said to me that she will call me back after she talked to her partner. She never called back and never called me. They also said it was too bad not there fault. The owner also says she owned the place for 30 years when she did not The way they’ve treated the situation they didn’t care but I guess when it’s not their money, why would they care? They know one of the staff members took it, but they didn’t do anything about it. They didn’t even apologize. Didn’t do nothing about it. Do I still go there and donate my money for sure I do, but I am the bigger person, but I would suggest to be careful do not people that you can trust is not a business who cares about anybody else...
